JLM H1 3000K LED Headlight Conversion Kit 60W 6000LM CREE w/Heat Sink Golden Yellow Light

This is the 2nd pair I received. The first was used, damaged, broken glass, etc. It was returned to Amazon. The 2nd pair was new and easy to install. I adjusted the levels of light so to not blind oncoming traffic. That evening I went for a drive, anxious to see the results of my labor, and to see the 8000k Artic blue light.I drove around 500 yards, turned back to home. I could barely see any light output at all! So, the next day I decided to remove the blue glass tubes and to see that night. One came out fairly easily. The other was stuck. After some time I was to remove the second. It was then I discovered 3 major problems.1. The glass blue Artic tubes had cracked and losing pieces down into the headlight. I guess the heat was too high for them...2. The one light that was difficult too remove had lost the ring with the 3 different sized tabs (so it can only be installed one way. (These are the 9006 HB4 lights). I looked into the hole to find that the ring had come off and was attached to the car! Again, I believe the heat had loosened the plastic ring so it came off. There was no screw or any indication of glue. There is only one way that it fits onto the light, but would slip off.3. The 3 tabs are of different sizes, so it can only be fitted onto the car in only that one position. This third problem was the cause of the low light output, therefore rendering them useless. The LED portion of the light had LEDs on both sides, and as far as I could see were not adjustable. The one light resulted, when fitted to the car had a position top and bottom, instead of the proper position side to side, left-right. The other light had the at a position of 2 and 8.I have no choice but to return them for a refund.I really wanted the lights to work since they have potential of 8000k light output and were a great price.But for the 3 problems, they are simply not for me or my 2012 Chevy Volt.

There are some good and .bad things about these headlights.GOOD: is they reflect off objects really well. An example of this is roadsigns and animal eyes (deer). I live up in Wisconsin and we have them running around like crazy this time of year and I'm glad these lights were able to show me where they were. On gravel roads they work extremely well and really do light up the whole place. They also made it through -20 degree weather and turn on instantly.BAD: On certain roads (black highways) the lights have a hard time reflecting off the surface to show where the road is. It could be the temperature of the lenses I have for it. Also the brights don't show anymore in length of the road, it just intensifies the beam.All in all, depending on where you live it could be a blessing or a curse. I have both terrain here, so it has its advantages and disadvantages.

The LED bulbs arrived quickly, and fitted pretty well. They work well. The plug fits the standard car wiring and can plug in either way to get the polarity right. A small negative is that the plug didn't clip in positively on mine when it was the correct way around, only the wrong way around - it doesn't have the correct plastic lug on one side. It needed to be wrapped in tape to be 100% sure that it would stay in. Also, the beam isn't very well focused, so you see things on the side of the road nearby very well but it doesn't add as much to the long distance view as it could. There's a clever mechanism so you can rotate the bulbs in their holder to adjust the beam, but it only offered limited adjustment and was a little bit loose.Overall though, they seem to be reasonable quality, fitted easily and look great.

Exactly how it was stated in description read some reviews got mixed results so I said why not I'm going to try for my self and I would recommend these very nice well built product directions easy to follow easy to install and I wanted to wait a while to write my review so I could test them out make sure they work as the day I got them and it has lived up to my test as being a great product they're bright and a nice clean white also haven't flickered both have same color on each side. The only thing I dislike and it has nothing to do with the bulbs it's just because led is such a low heat making bulb my headlights get iced over and can't melt the ice from the heat of the bulb but I can live with that

Lighting is as described and have worked great. However, after 1yr and 2mo of being installed, tried to take bulbs out to change color temperature shield. Driver side came out with a little difficulty. Passenger side spinning in socket. 2 piece design plastic on metal locking lug is a bad design, a set screw with pre-drilled hole would be better. Had to completely take headlight housing out and dis-assemble to get light out of socket. No warranty info on product page and have yet to hear back from seller or MFG as to warranty.

The brightness on and bulbs are good on low beam ma have to do alil ajustment on the light house but overall good for the price thats why i gave it a 4 star i am happy with them

Having issues with the lights breaking on me constantly. Great customer service but I'm now on my second light bulb and it's a little annoying I love the lights but I'm not too pleased.

Very good for FOG LIGHTS. It gives that JDM yellow look similar to HID bulbs. They're bright, but I'm not sure how effective they would be as headlights. The packaging for the tubes is not protected well enough; my first shipment arrived cracked but seller happily replaced them.
