Okay, so if this was just for the can lids, I'd give this 5 stars. But the spoon (which is the reason I bought this version of the product) does not actually help get the food out of the can any easier. All of the bottom is just related to the spoon. Get the can lids- don't bother with the spoon.My husband insists on using what he calls "the two spoon method" to empty out our cats food from the cans. I bought this in the hopes that we could just rinse one spoon off rather than him using 2 spoons literally each time he feeds the cats - he gets frustrated with having food on the spoon and insists that using 2 spoons is better - I don't get it, to be honest. So I bought this in the hopes that it would A) help get the food out of the can better than a spoon, and B) not require more than gentle knocking to get the food remnants off the spoon. This doesn't really do either of these. The spoon is curved in a way that doesn't enable you to remove the food any easier. And my husband still complains about the food sticking to the spoon too much. It's stupid, I know. But it just doesn't work any better than a regular spoon.

My cat needs an expensive prescription canned cat food for her kidneys – Hill's prescription diet k/d kidney care canned cat food – which costs almost $60 for 24 cans. It's done wonders for her health, but due to the price, it's important to not waste any.She's a small cat and can only eat a spoonful at a time so I have to store each opened can in the refrigerator between feedings. If the can isn't sealed well, the food oxidizes, and my cat won't eat it. I tried many different ways of sealing the cans, but they were too fussy and didn't work very well.I found these lids and decided to give them a try. They fit the cans perfectly! They're very easy to put on and off, and they clean up very easily when the cat food gets on them. Having 5 of them means I can use a fresh one with each new can. The silicone makes the lids wash very easily by hand, as well as being dishwasher safe.I very highly recommend these lids for the Hill's prescription canned cat food!

It fits my dogs canned food perfectly but there are also several different sized rings so one of them likely works with whatever can you have.

Bought these for my cats food and they work great. One can lasts him 4 days so I needed something to keep them fresh in the fridge and these are perfect. They also fit smaller cans. When I’m done with a can I just toss the lid in the dishwasher and it’s good to go again
