Item worked just as described with a full tank but not as well with tanks that are not full. First caveat is it requires a fully immersed sending tube so when the liquid is down to the last few ounces the sending stops. Second the sending tube is long and wide so it will work with deep tanks but this keeps it from working well for small tanks with only a little liquid left. With a full tank it took only one squeeze of the bulb and almost the whole tank emptied. With a tank only 10% full it took several squeezes to get the liquid up the long tube and the siphon never really started. I got two so I will alter one to work better for small tanks by cutting the sending tube in half so it does not take as much liquid for it to start the siphon action and I will attach a rubber funnel on the end in order to decrease the circumference of the tube when it is in the liquid so it can keep a better air seal.

I bought this item for my father who works in the construction business. He said just buy a cheap one cause I need it ASAP my old one broke. The shipping on this item was very fast. Once it arrived my dad was so impressed and begged me to get another one cause he said it was better than the one he previously bought and not to mention more affordable. He said the quality is awesome and it’s an excellent siphon. So as a daughter it’s nice to know for once I knew what he needed better than he did :) I highly recommend this item

This is an awesome little syphon pump. I ordered two. One for gas and one for water. The larger tubing makes liquid transfer fast and easy.

It does siphon gas as advertised but only works if you continuously press the bulb to suck fuel up. I did use it to transfer fuel from a 5 gallon to a 1 gallon can and it worked but as,mentioned requires pumping the bulb

We have had a problem with sediment in our water from our well. After having filter equipment installed, we used this to siphon the water and sediment out of the toilet tanks before cleaning the tanks. The pump is fast and works great, and longer than our previous one, so accidents of it 'popping out' of the receiving container don't happen.

Love these for transferring liquid by hand or watering small pots out of a 5 gallon bucket.

I use these pumps for everything around the home from pumping out my small pond to watering plants. They're durable and work well; just a few squeezes and the siphon takes over. Will buy again.

Much better than cheap ones with the little screw top vacuum break. Works great and seems more heavy duty.
