Great but expensive
Great product, but old stock....not as pictured. It worked however in my Selphy 1200. Also expensive compared to that In store. I understand you pay for convenience but still! I have gone back to buying in store.

Great quality - much better than generic replacements - see comparison image
I recently bought a Canon Selphy CP1300 to use as a printer for a photobooth and for when I can't be bothered to get the A3 printer up and running for a few small shots. As usual when buying a printer, I wanted to see if I could economise with the inks and paper. On traditional inkjet printers, it's often possible to find a good combination of paper and ink that works out cheaper. Being all in one (paper and ribbon) obviously you can't mix and match so have to take what results you get.I've uploaded a comparison photo - a generic replacement on the left, original Canon supplies on the right. Comparing the prints side-by-side, you can see that this 3rd party replacement is visibly inferior in terms of colour balance. There is a lot more magenta present (look at the sky in particular) than in the Canon ink. This is not just this image - every image I tried had exaggerated magenta. The prints also come out a lot lighter than the official Canon supplies, which lifts shadows but equally makes deep blacks impossible. The lightening also tends to make the images look a bit grainy overall. The canon supplies give a great image quality with a nice neutral tone and very predictable results.Given that the price is not much more for official Canon supplies, I wouldn't bother with generic replacements unless a) they're much cheaper on a deal and b) you're not that bothered about the quality. I suppose you might be able to do some colour management, but I for one will be sticking to Canon supplies.

Brilliant, just get Selphy and print away!
This is fantastic! We got CP-1300 and this 108 photo pack.Quality of photos - sharpness and colours is amazing, on par with best online services.Postcard size is large, and you can always print couple on a page using the app if you need smaller size.Costs are very reasonable, 1 photo costs ~0.27p, and you don't have to wait for the delivery if using online service. We always struggled to find time to fill our photo books - not anymore - and it's so fun to do with whole family.Considering convenience and instant prints (you can even get battery pack for it and take it with you to events) it's worth every penny.Recommended!

The read deal!
There are plenty of after market print paper and ink out there (see my other review) but for literally a few pounds more you get a cannon real deal and boy does it make a difference. First of all the ink is perfect quality as is the paper. You can see the difference much thicker and glossy paper. The ink actually lasts a really long time and the quality of the photos is fantastic just like going to a shop.I have had a cannon printer for years and they really do stand the test of time I have found no problems with it at all and the printer ink and paper is fantastic. Cant fault it at all.

Not cheap but the only serious media option if you have a Canon Selphy
I've been using Celphy printers for over ten years and I'm now on my third - a 910. I've encountered many annoying problems with the printers, but can't fault the quality of the photo's when I finally manage to print them. However printed photos do often tend to be a bit dark, and it can annoying (and expensive) to have to change settings and reprint. But I'm not sure that this is strictly a fault of the ink and paper set. My only serious compliant is that the ink cartridge always runs out with a sheet or two of the paper left - I have to assume 100 rather than 108 printed photos a pack. The price of the pack is high but it does fluctuate, I stock up with a few packs when it falls below £24. Even so, the cost per photo is still expensive compared to some alternatives, but I'm prepared to pay a premium for the ability to print a high quality 6" x 4" photo on demand.
