Finally! A swim cap that stays on!
I consider my head to be fairly normal in size and my hair to be of regular length and thickness. So you can imagine my frustration when I buy a basic no brand swim cap, only to find that it snaps off my head with the ferocity of a sling shot, it would not stay on my head wet or dry.You could say the hunt began there and then. You see my pool enforces a strict swim cap policy, no cap no service, and I was not about to let a puny swim cap stop me from enjoying myself. After a rigorous search on amazon making search all of my filters where on ( I'm a 4+ star and up only kind of girl) I stumbled open this lovely cap. Not only did the size look about right but it looked cute too! It actually seemed too good to be true but I took a leap and decided to buy it. Two days later (thanks Prime!) it arrived and I didn't waste anytime in trying it on.At first glance this thing is HUGE!! I was like no way is my head this big but what should be taken into account is the opening, that band is what will be wrapped around your head the other end is what holds your hair. It should be noted that I wear my swim caps with my hair wet and smothered in conditioner so that I can better protect it from the chlorinated water, so I was fully expecting this cap to sling shot off my head and hurt someone because of all the slip but to my relief it stayed put, snug, and didn't snag my hair at all. The only down side is that it's not water proof but it's only a small downside so its okay. Overall I'm super satisfied and can't wait to keep using my cap.I'll try to fill you guys in if anything changes.

Works for my Protective Hairstyles
I've used this cap for about 3 weeks in my water aerobics class. I've gotten compliments and, best of all, I haven't had to shampoo my hair every time I swim! I chose this product because I have been wearing braids and twists, and I didn't want to jeopardize my workout because of my hairstyle. I also didn't want to jeopardize my hairstyle because of my workout. This product gives me a nice balance. Understaninding that there may be some water seepage around the edges of the cap, I did research to understand how to keep cholorine from damaging my hair while in its protective styles. I took the suggestion to apply conditioner (leave-in) throughout my hair, but concentrating around my hairline. However, I found that it made the cap too slippery. I also wanted to keep the cap from pulling my hair as I slip it on and off, so I apply the condintioner and put on a satin cap before I put on the swim cap. So far, it seems to work well. One day, as a percautionary measure, I shampooed the nape area, just in case there was some seepage of which I wasn't fully aware. It wan't a very involved process because my goal was simply to remove any possibility of chlorine and not have a disaster when i remove these extensions. For now, I am very pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that I chose to pay a little more to invest into the health of my hair.

Protect "Goldilocks"... This cap fits "just right"
Just opened it and tried it on, haven't gotten to swim yet, but so far so good! I purchased in black because I have a black suit, you can't seem to go wrong with it in that regards, but here is some more helpful information:I seem to have a very large head- headbands hurt, elastic sweatbands and other caps pop off within seconds of placement. On top of all that, I have thick wavy/curly hair (at medium/long length). I like this cap- it doesn't stay too tight where my head will hurt, but it's not loose where it could fly off and hit somebody. Additionally the cap has lots of room for hair.I have a round face that I worried would make me look goofy- not the case at all. The flop like a french beret is very flattering, and kind of cute!I bought this cap to protect my purple color treated hair, and I think the way it seals and stays on, will definitely do the trick.Received cap quickly, and seller even keeps in contact once purchased and shipped. Highly recommend.

For Once I Don't Feel Like A Cone Head!!
I have all natural hair that comes down to my waist. It's been very difficult finding quality swim caps that can accommodate the length and thickness. I've tried Speedo X-large caps and have ripped them brand new right out of the pack!! In searching for a cap.... it slowed me down from getting in the pool because as much as I love swimming, I totally despise the smell of chlorine in my hair so some days.... I just do water aerobics or sit and relax too relieve soreness from walking/jogging or working with weights in some fashion. So when this cap (black) arrived... my three daughters, who also have long hair said, "Wow!!! Mom that's HUGE!!" I couldn't wait to try it on. It great! For the first time I didn't have to struggle to push all my hair inside, I didn't feel like I had received a eyebrow face lift from it being extremely tight and uncomfortable around my forehead, and I didn't feel like a "Cone Head" from all my hair being piled in top of my head so I could squeeze it all in! When i out in out....I actually felt cute for the first time in my swim cap!! I'm so excited about these caps that I WANT ONE IN EVERY COLOR!! I love it!!!

I can finally swim anytime!
I can finally go swimming any time that I want because of this swim cap. My hair is such that, in the past, each swim adventure required inordinate amount of time to get my hair back together and, too often, it just wasn't worth the effort. Then come this swim cap! It fits all of my hair in it and has a nice grip around the edges to keep it dry. Yes, as others noted, there can be a bit of seepage around the neck edge, but in my case it's so minor as to be negligible (basically a bit of the hair at the back neck ends up wet, that's it - I imagine the thickness and length of your hair and head shape will make the difference in how it works for you). Again, negligible for me. I've now taken up swimming, go 2-3 times per week, swim laps and submerge completely and, after 1-2 hours, come out of the water, take the cap off, fluff up my DRY hair and go about my day. Anybody with high maintenance hair will appreciate the value in that.
