Light is good, selectable types and brightness, lightweight, not substantial poor quality components. Cheap feel low quality
It was very difficult to pick out a lamp for my desk. After hours of looking this one was selected out of the literally thousands available. I got it and was not impressed with the weight or build quality of this. Long story short, it works fine for my use, next time I think we will take the time to check it out in person. I would have preferred a heavier and more substantial lamp.I am updating this lamp review as it has quit working after just a few months. Now I have to contact manufacturer. I would not purchase this product again and do not recommend as its quality is questionable and the power supply used (15 volt) is very low quality. Just a cheap pile of junk now and $60 poorer.

Incorrect product specs for the brightness
Claims 800+ lumens. However, I measured the light (in lux units) on the desk surface, comparing this lamp and a 500 lumens one. The actual light produced by both lamps is exactly the same, which cannot be the case for such a big difference in the light output (lumens). I measured it with two different light meters, the second one specific for LED light. Now I am quite a bit concerned about the color temperature too, as I don't have good measurement instrument for it. The actual light quality is extremely important for the health of the eyes. I cannot recommend this lamp based on the data that I collected.

I buy many of these and use them with high volume, if you are careless the usb connectors will fail after repeated failed insertions. If your careful it is no problem.
