Quality sketchbook
The thick and ink-proof paper really feels good. The size is just alright, easy to carried or just put in the bag. Surely it is a good purchase.

Ideal for pencil
The pages are ultra smooth, but are very responsive to pencil. I've started doing anatomical studies in one, and the detail that can be had on this smooth finish paper is amazing. The paper isn't as thick and ink bleed-thru proof as the Moleskine Art Plus Sketchbook, but it does stand up to all but the juiciest fountain pen nibs, and could easily be used for calligraphy. Sharpie Markers will bleed through like crazy on just about any paper, and this book is no exception. I highly recommend this book for it's slightly larger width than the Moleskine, the easier price tag, and the quality, whichis right up there with Moleskine. The Chinese obviously gave this sketchbook a lot of thought before making it. The cover is just as, if not more durable than the Moleskine, and far more durable than the Amazon Basics notebooks which seen to fray and wear at the slightest provocation.

Quality paper, well designed
Love these! Was looking for a journal +. sketch pad that was not too small. The paper stock is nice and thick and I love that it has the elastic closure to keep the book safe when packed and:or traveling with it.Highly recommend!
