Metaltex USA Inc. Daisy Shopping Cart, Orange

This is an attractive cart but not as strong as my other one made by another co. I thought a smaller one would be useful on the bus and in tight spaces. I did 2 things wrong on the 2nd outing with this cart resulting in a smashed and broken right wheel. I over-loaded it and pulled it over poorly paved road area. I'll contact the company for wheel replacement and plan to never carry heavy items again. Plenty of smaller and lighter items I can use this cart for in the future.UPDATE: HELP! TO REPLACE THE BROKEN WHEEL I FIND REMOVING IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?I do need some advice since this is my first damaged product ordered through Amazon.com Who to contact for wheel replacement(I'll get 2.) Do I go through Amazon or direct to Wire World daily shopping cart? Thank you.UPDATE 091914: Beware of buying this cart. I was very naive to expect Amazon to provide consumer wheel information on the cart as follows: The wheels snap onto cart easily but cannot be removed and replaced if needed. There is no consumer info. provided anywhere describing the wheels and any fix. The upshot is I have a nice, new bag and a broken wheel. Useless and poor business response to problem. ("Wire World Daisy Shopping Cart" is owned by Amazon.com).

This little cart has been a workhorse for me for about a year now. I carry books, sometimes a fairly heavy load, back and forth to where I do volunteer tutoring. This is the smaller version, but just right for my needs. The carts and such I tried that had smaller wheels and the bag closer to the ground didn't last long and when it was rainy things got wet from below, as I splashed through puddles. This one sits up higher, and the fabric bag is very water resistant, so contents stay dry. Despite reviews citing wheel problems, mine continue to be fine. I take it on 1-1/2 mile trips several times a week, so it has gotten a LOT of mileage and is still working perfectly. One tiny issue is that this smaller, narrower cart is a little easier to tip over, as the base is fairly narrow. So you need to use a little care, but not much. If that's a problem, just order the larger size cart with a wider wheel base, which is not tippy at all. Very, very satisfied with this cart. A super value, too.

For the price I'm enjoying this. The material isn't the best but it does the job. I sometimes take the liner off and just haul my laundry down the street. I live in dowtown with no assigned parking so I put this in the car when I go grocery shopping and fit my groceries in the cart walking back home from parking. It's a cute design and good for small things. The specs say it holds about 60 pounds if I converted it right. So far I must have put at least 20lbs on it. I wouldn't try to test it with something heavy because The material but it's doing the trick for me.

Easy assembly and does the job. I needed a cart for transporting 2 or 3 grocery bags. I live just around the corner from the grocery store and hated to use my car and gas. The material is a little bit strong we than a grocery tote bag. My mistake was overloading the cart with a gallon of milk and 3, two liter soda bottles. I pulled the handle on the bag to slide it off the frame and I ripped off the handle. It is still perfectly usable and I blame myself for exceeding the weight limit. I would purchase this item again.

I loved the style and price and I may have overworked the wheels with a 20llb bag of cat liter and a 12 pack of canned drink. But it worked well and didn't immediately die. I was surprised that the spokes on the wheel came apart with nothing in the bag when I was transporting the cart. I thought I would have gotten more than one use but I didn't have an expectation the cart had any kind of durability. The frame was sturdy and but the material used for the wheels was recycled plastic and the cheap non durable kind. I have decided for what I wanted it for an alternative was more suitable. Three starts for only getting one use and the wheel spokes came apart with nothing in the cart but good price and style.

I love this. I live on the 4th floor of an apartment complex where our parking garage is across the street. I use this every time I go shopping to carry groceries from my car to the elevator, across the street, up another elevator and into my apartment. I've read other reviews where the wheels came off, but once I man handled mine onto the frame, they've never been so much as wobbly. I even walked to work a couple times, and dragged her through a couple muddy front lawns over tree roots, and she did just fine. It is deceptively large. I can fit probably 4 or 5 FULL grocery bags and usually balance something on top. I also empty it and set my hamper on the frame on laundry day which is nice. Very pleased with my purchase.

This fits my needs very well. Partially blind, I use a cane, and have only one arm available for moving items to and from a paratransit lift. I've had no problems with use of the cart. Problems I had were with setup. The shipped item had an extremely foul odor. I had to soak the cloth bag (which is hand-wash only) twice to eliminate that stench. It took me a while to follow the drawings (no text details), find the wheels, and get them popped in. After setup, it's been smooth sailing/rolling.

Purchased this shopping cart to help me carry purchases into the house, as I have mobility issues, and use a cane. I absolutely LOVE this cart. It required little assembly---tapping the 2 wheels on, and it was ready to go. It is light weight, and folds up flat for easy trunk storage. Size is good too. I especially like the fact I can utilize the drawstring to close the top of the bag , so nothing falls out. My only regret is that I did not purchase this item sooner, as it certainly has made my life easier. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to make these in brighter colors, as I am not impressed with the color choices, but I would definately buy this again.
