It Works
One of the things that can reliably make a long run suck is sweat running into your eyes. The GUTR Sweatband is the best way I have found to prevent that from happening. It does a very good job, with some fiddling to get the fit right, of diverting sweat around to the back of your head instead of letting it run down your face.I wear one at the recommended height and then just put my running cap on over it. It works to hold my sunglasses in place too which I appreciate in the harsh summer sun. I was initially concerned that it wouldn't play well with a cap and sunglasses but it really does work well.I also appreciate that it is very easy to clean. It is a harder, rubber-like material than I was expecting (I thought it would be like silicone but it isn't). This harder rubber is still comfortable to wear but it also makes it easier to clean and less tacky which I like.

Game changer
This has been a game changer for me. In the past, I used to finish my bike rides with red eyes because of the sweat that run down from my head. During the ride I often had sweat dripping into my sunglasses and the whole thing was a mess. This headband is very minimalist and it completely keeps sweat away from my eyes. At first I was a bit skeptical thinking the sweat would somehow leak behind the band and still get to my eyes, but the rubber material of the front side of the headband seals nicely with my forehead forcing the sweat to flow into the gutter and slide away from my side.Highly recommend!

Imperfect, but still the best I've used.
I sweat a lot when I bicycle, and it really, really hurts when the sweat gets in my eyes. Solving this problem is pretty important to me.I'd tried fabric sweat absorbing things, which work great until they're saturated, then they're nearly useless, even after wringing them out. If your ride is short or you don't sweat much, they're for you.The GUTR works pretty well, *IF* you wear it right. If you don't, either it's super uncomfortable, or it just doesn't work.I had to put it relatively low on my forehead, and the band in the back had to be rather high on my head. When the band was low in the back it ended up hurting my ears where it rested. No good. One flaw in the design is that it assumes your head is convex everywhere. If your temples are slightly concave (most people's are) there can be a little gap where sweat can run down next to your eye. This isn't a deal breaker, just be aware of the problem. Also, the design could be improved by making the upper edge angled a little more so it will make a good seal with your forehead and limit the sweat that can get *BEHIND* the band. This is *mostly* OK, except that the sweat that gets behind ends up down by the corners of your eyes where the band separates from your head at your temples. With a couple design tweaks this could be a 5+ star product. As it is, it's somewhere between 4+ and 5-. Worth the money, but imperfect.

Amazing!
I work in the entertainment industry where I am always sweating from head to toe. This is by far amazing! No more sweat in my eyes. Wish I had thought of this genius idea! And it's American made! Made in Texas!

First use-I really wanted to love this
I ride around 600 miles monthly. Average rides of 25miles. I can’t stand bringing 2-3 sweat bands along with me anymore so was excited to try Gutr. I looked at this and Halo but chose Gutr based on some of the amazon reviews and elsewhere online.Just took it out for its maiden voyage. Quick 20 mile loop. I’m in Indiana so The heat wasn’t horrible today. 85ish.Unfortunately, Gutr performed so poorly I literally stopped my route to see if I had put it on upside down. It literally didn’t work at all. Like zero. Now, there could be a couple things messing with it’s performance which I’ll give it another shot and update this review. 1. It was very windy today. 30mph winds. So maybe it was pushing sweat directionally 2. I’m on road bike so maybe I need to position it differently on my forehead. I had it pretty low above eyebrows But because I’m in aero position a lot, maybe it was just at wrong angle to pull the sweat away.Regardless. How I wore it today didn’t work. I literally don’t think it would have been worse if i wore no sweat band of any sort under my helmet. But again, because I appreciate the ingenuity, and small business nature of Gutr and the concept in general. I’m not going to be the guy giving a 1 star review after 1 use. Hoping i did something wrong ( I didn’t read any directions as it seems pretty self explanatory. Just put it on. So will give it the benefit of the doubt , do some research, try again and update this review after tomorrow’s ride.

Nicely made and a good concept, but doesn't work for me.
Good in concept, but not able to transport enough sweat to justify the expense. For road biking, it works OK since there is always a breeze from pedaling. However, for hiking and mountain biking, I find that it fills up with sweat and then dumps it all at once onto my glasses. To help that a little, I learned that putting on askew (tilted) to one side helps with the drainage but then I have a constant trickle of sweat running down the side of my face. Headsweats / sweatvac style do-rags work better for me under helmets. Those increase the evaporation rate so much that dripping sweat is reduced rather than redirected. I have not figured out how to use both devices together without getting a headache due to the tightness of the GUTR needed to prevent sweat from getting under it when I'm using a do-rag.

Sweat Gutr Flex Sweatband Headband
They actually do work; As a Longshoreman & working in extreme weathers that this comes very handy when ever I’m working inside any sheds or underground tunnels that are super hot & by wearing so much clothing & gear that I tend to swear more so than my Forman that isn’t carrying anything; No more sweat getting into my eyes while both of my hands are always too dirty or holding onto tools to wipe the sweats off of my eyes; Thank you team Amazon

Useless
Bought to help keep sweat away from my glasses when out running. Didn't make a difference at all except give me a red line across my forehead. Don't waste your time or money

Cumple muy bien su propósito
Excelente!!!

Very Good and Satisfied!
very comfortable and unlike before when I sweat too much it runs through my eyes but wearing this helps a lot to filter the sweating and it flows down on both sides with the help of a little canal :)
