Switch Charger Compatible with Switch/Switch Dock/Pro Controller with 5ft Type C Cable, Support TV Mode, 2.5 Hours Fast Travel Wall Charger, 1.5V/2.6A AC Adapter Power Supply

I bought an aftermarket dock product because I couldn't get the OEM dock to work with any of the USB Type C power blocks I had. However, it didn't work because it would drain the battery while docked. This product works with the OEM dock and charges while actively playing in tv mode.

I recommend only for indoor house charging not for traveling.

So in order to power the Nintendo Switch dock you need one of these higher voltage AC adapters. It seems the power requirements to transmit the video signal over HDMI to the TV are higher and thus the need for these. So it’s really cool that you can get them for about ½ the price of the OEM especially if you’re like me and like to keep a least a couple of these around.I did test this adapter by plugging it into the dock and then playing the console a little bit. Well, the kids did the playing and experienced no issues of any kind. Of course, the power supply can also charge the console directly and any other accessories that have a USB Type-C receptacle. I think this adapter is no different than the original one, and unless you look closely at the labels in the back, they’re impossible to tell apart.

When connected to the gulikit switch dock, it struggles to provide power consistently. Nightmare when connected to a TV and the switch would swap between handheld and docked (TV) mode.At first it would happen maybe once or twice every few hours, and it was hardly noticeable. As of writing this (2 months after purchase), it was happening every 2 minutes.Switching to a Nintendo power cord seemed to resolve the issue with the dock. I'll update this review if the problem returns.This product might still work as a charger only. I'll be using it as a backup charger for a switch lite, but I am worried it might brick my devices at this point.Buy at your own risk.

Je l'ai acheté pour charger mes appareils mobiles et il les charges tous bien et assez rapidement! De plus il pourra charger ma switch en cas de perte ou de bris de mon chargeur original! Vraiment très satisfaite!

We misplaced our original cord and didn't want to pay full price for a name brand cord.This one works great, can confirm that tv mode is supported by this cable. Construction seems solid, no complaints. If my kids happen to lose this one, I would buy it again 5/5

No concerns, works the same as our standard Switch power cord.

Didn't work after third use. Just save the hassle and extra money spending and buy one from Nintendo themselves. It was such a waste.And my window to return expired even though it was saved with his birthday gifts. Unfair.
