Q: Are both sides adhesive

Yes, both the hook side and the loop side have adhesive applied. I have applied he hook to the back side of a solar panel that is heavy plastic and the loop portion to the roof of my camper. I have had the camper on the open road and have not had a problem with the installation.

Q: Would this stick to a fabric, let's say a polyester tablecloth on one side and a tulle ribbon on the other side? I am making a tulle tableskirt but wanna be able to take off the tableskirt when I need to wash the tablecloth.

There are attachable Velcro fasteners made just for fabrics that would seemingly work very well. They hold as fast as these do but are softer and able to stay better. You can get them with either adhesive on one side and for really soft fabrics, strips you can sew onto the clothes.

Yes, there is sew able Velcro that can be adhered with a sewing machine or by hand which ever is easiest for you.

Hi JJ ~ I'm going to toss in my 2 cents worth :-) Just weekend before last, I needed something over a set of shelves in my closet. The "stuff" on the shelves was constantly dusty. So I was just hoping if I had some kind of cover/curtain that would help. Well I did exactly what you're talking about and it worked great - - I too had to wonder if it would stick to the fabric. And I feel like I gave it a really good test...I used a bath towel for my "curtain"! So it's been 10 days and I keep checking to see how it's holding up. So far, so good :-) At some point I'm going to have to wash the towel...I'll just have to see how that works out. But even if I have to replace the Velcro, that's not such a horrible thing~ Hope this has helped :-)
