Of course I don't throw my weights around either so it may not be getting the test that some may put it through. These hold my weights on perfectly to my Olympic curling bar... super easy to unclasp, slide off.. switch out your weights and clamp it back into place. I have a couple of HIIT workouts that require me to be able to switch plates out quickly and be ready for the next round and these really do the trick!

Good collar for a good price. One is a bit harder to open/close than the other, but not enough to cause me any trouble. I got them in green, which isn't QUITE as bright as pictured, still fairly bright though. Would have loved them in a nice, deep hunter green. ;-) I'm not a particularly heavy lifter and I don't do Oly lifts, so these aren't getting dropped or anything. I've only used them for a week or so and they seem to be doing the job perfectly. Definitely easier than the typical spring collars.

Long term durability not known yet. But they seem to work fine and strong for the first 7 months so far. Got the screaming-yellow collars as a safety measure to keep pre-k through 4 graders (short people) from smacking their teeth, noses, eyes and foreheads on the black olympic weight bar in the poorly lighted room as it sits on the bench press if no weights are present on bar. After we got the weight set in April our 1st grader hit her mouth on the bar running through the weight room. Got the collars right away after that...and it hasn't happened since.

I was originally looking for a set of metal spring collar/clamps. Upon seeing this newer style of collar/clamp, I was intrigued. I took a chance and purchased a set in green. They arrived earlier than originally quoted. They work effectively, as you would want from a barbell collar/clamp. They are easy and quick to put on and take off my Olympic weight bars and have a nice locking feature for the clamping mechanism.

I couldn't think of what to get my gym rat of a dad for Christmas, but these came to mind! The gym has clamps already, but they're usually scattered all over. I tested these before I wrapped them and it fits quite snugly. I'm not sure about durability since I used it once, so we'll have to circle back on that topic in the near future.

They do what they're intended to do. Good quality, I only found one thing strange (not that I mind personally). They don't have the companies brand on them. So 3 months from now when I forget the brand name if someone were interested in them I'd only be saying they have em on Amazon about ten bucks.which could be any brand really.

Decent quality for the price, they do the job which is what matters most but you can definitely tell they are on the cheaper side since we own a different pair that came with the exercise machine and can tell the difference in quality. Product took an extra week to arrive :(.

These collars are solid. They're a lot heavier than I expected. They hold very tightly without being difficult to unlock. I have arthritis in my thumbs which makes some collars hard to use, but the levers on these operate very smoothly.
