Q: When using this on a pc can the extra buttons be mapped to any input or can they only be mapped to other controller buttons, like the xbox elite?

The reply saying the controller can’t be mapped to keyboard is semi wrong. In steam you can actually go to gamepad configuration and go to any button on the controller, like down d pad for example, and add a keyboard input into it. You can also remove the input entirely so you remove the down d pad function and have it only function as a keyboard input. Steam will override the settings set in game.

Q: What is the difference between the Tournament and Ultimate edition other than a drastic price difference?

-No headset adapter. -Ultimate Edition has four buttons on the back-middle; TE has two paddles, back right and back left. -Both have two extra shoulder buttons on the top. If you play on PC and have dedicated headphones/mic then the headset adapter doesn't matter. I have the ultimate and there were quite a few games where I had no need for six extra buttons. Four would have been fine. I'd say go with TE for sure if you're on PC.

I own the tournament edition but the mic mute function does not work wirelessly. You would need to use the headset control if it has that option. It needs to be plugged into the controller if you want to mute your mic. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, this expensive controller does not allow for mic monitoring. I am in the process of getting a refund on my wolverine ultimate now, because of the lack of this feature that even cheap controllers have.
