Absolute Green Lavender Linen and Fabric Spray, 25 fl. oz

Just what I was looking for - a light, fast drying, natural spray with REAL lavender, not perfumey lavender. I want something to spray the mattress with at sheet changes that can be smelled, but isn't too strong and lingering. I have cats and they are quite sensitive about smells. I love this. The only thing weird is little white chunks floating around the bottom of the bottle... I figure it's just a side effect of a natural product. Great price, too.

I have been trying to find all natural linen spray for some time that the scent will last for a while. This was a pretty big bottle compared to many other brands, so I thought I would give it a try. The ingredients are: Water, Alcohol Denat. (derived from sugar), Polysorbate 20, Lavendula Hybrida Oil. Four ingredients, pretty good, but I was a little surprised to see Polysorbate 20 on there. It is possible to have plant derived Polysorbate 20, but it does not specify if it is or not. I checked EWG's website to see if or how toxic it maybe, you can check it out here: [...]/. I am not sure if the Polysorbate 20 is really needed.I have used about half the bottle and scent is initially very nice, but as others have noted, it does not last long. A quick spritz on carpeting or furniture just before people show up makes it nice, but it doesn't last. I did spritz some towels with it when I put them in the dryer and when they came out they smelled great, that lasted longer than just spraying it on. With the unknown derived polysorbate 20 I am not sure I will be buying this again.

Love this wonderful product! Unlike the many other toxic products we have readily available, this all natural product is true to the actual lavender aroma. It is soothing and relaxing. Ordering more to keep in our laundry room for an instant refresher for the forgotten laundry in the dryer and for our guest room to welcome our holiday guests!

Difficult review because the AROMA is definitely 5 STARS, but it lasts only a couple of minutes which, sadly, is a 1 star. I'd read it didn't last long, but my arrogance about my keen sense of smell misled me into thinking I would be able to detect it longer. Wrong. I LOVE the smell and wish they could do something to make it last, especially since I tried another lavender (herbs de Provence, which contains lavender) spray from Amazon and, ironically it lasts but I detest the smell (I've loved other herbs de Provence, so that's not the problem).

Excellent. Very mild. We can use on clothes, house ...........

Smells nice but does not last. Needs to be a bit stronger. I've added a bit of lavender oil see if I can get the scent to linger longer. I would not buy again or recommend

This was a great find because I insist on using only safe, natural products in my home. The scent starts strong and then settles into a nice calming, fresh lavender. I use it to freshen up the house before company comes. Looking forward to trying some of their other scents too.
