Handle design tends to tip the pan. This pan is the perfect size for one egg (I use 'very large size' egg).Now used a few dozen times and I've found there is no need to add any oil, just the egg. The top surface of the egg glazes well when covered with a silicone lid. Most often the egg slides out with a wiggle of the pan but if help is needed I use a small silicone spatula.I liked it so much that I reduced the length of the handle to provide a stable centre of gravity (a couple of hours fun with a saw, small electric grinder and drill). I clean the pan with a drop of detergent, warm water and soft sponge. Fingers crossed for the surface staying non-stick. After 6 months of use its surface remains as good as new.

Very cute little pan - big enough to do one fried egg. Bought as a novelty but is getting used for small amounts of food eg onions for an omelette. Very good quality

We also have the original version of this, with different non stick coating, a heavier thicker base and no rivets protruding inside the pan.But the coating began to break up and come away within a couple of years, despite light use and only using the then supplied matching spatula.This new version is near identical apart from the much lighter weight and thinner base and no supplied spatula.But the biggest, overriding problem remains.They never sit flat on any kind of cooker other than induction hobs - and even then the tend to over balance.The handle is heavier and quite long so the balance fulcrum is weigh off centre. Even with an egg in the pan, the whole thing tips over unless held the whole time. And the yolk seldom if ever remains central.It’s frustrating and inconvenient and results in the pan getting less and less use.Only really useful for making eggs for muffins etc.Otherwise a normal pan with a drop - in cooking ring would be an easier prospect to handle for nicely shaped fried eggs. .That said - this is still a cute kitchen accessory, and remarkably cheap.It’s one of those things which flatters to deceive.Not really recommended for those without absolutely flat surface cooking hobs - and even then, with caution.

This is the second pan I have bought, they fry brilliantly, don't stick and you get the perfect egg without it spreading all over a larger pan.

The pan looked lovely but is too heavy on the handle end and doesn’t stay upright

Pan is stable unlike small pans i have used before .I've been using this for liquid egg whites and they cook really well.So easy to clean .Is the perfect size for 1 full egg too .Highly recommend

This little frying pan is a great price, and is a perfect size for a single egg. I also like the design. However, the handle is far too heavy and therefore over balances the pan on the hob, making it very difficult to use. It’s a bit ‘style over substance’ I’m afraid.

These single egg frying pans are great. I went through a few 2nd hand ones before ordering this one. It is the perfect size to make a bacon and egg sandwich. The non stick coating works great although I still spray the pan as it helps with the way the egg cooks.

Egg muffin for one. This is important to know. I usually use rings to make egg muffin sandwiches with giant size muffins and canadian bacon and cheese. Better than the McBurger place. But the rings are hard to clean and harder to separate and flip. This tiny fryer is the Perfect size. Non-stick makes it somewhat easy to flip. It won't look perfect but because of the tiny size it will keep the shape and makes it harder to overcook. The Only thing you must be prepared for is this: the tiny size.. Even though the fryer is made to last, the handle is too heavy causing it to be off balance! With nothing in it.. it is way too easy to topple over handle side! But a small mug under the handle.. Then the weight of the egg.. It Will keep it from tipping, towards the handle. It needs a lighter handle! It is cute and worth it. Easy to clean and makes a great egg muffin sandwich. May not look perfect after flipping, I suggest a good flexible silicone spatula and little tongs to assist in the careful flip. When you get it out and see it tip handle side don't be discouraged, it is so close to balanced it is almost perfect. (Manufacturer, please lighten the handle!) It is built to last.

I’ve had others similar to this and they’re much thinner and flimsy. This pan is solid, well built. even heating with the aluminum bottom. while it’s “non-stick” I still use a bit of fat, like the smallest bit of butter or olive oil, or I cook a sausage patty first then the egg. Eggs are notorious for sticking, why tempt a problem.It rests perfectly on my glass cooktop. I suspected the complainers were using gas stoves with their normal huge grates. Check out the pictures. Yep! Oh well, a solution is to use a diffuser. The pan is great, can’t blame it for the stove it’s being used on.I highly recommend this pan, I just wish there were a lid for these little guys.
