I had ACL repair surgery. Today. My husband has been diligently keeping the ice in my ice machine filled and i can feel the cold underneath my brace when when i touch it but the cold isn't getting thru my bandage as well as i'd like. I purchased this knee wrap last month when i was initially injured dirtbiking and was immediately impressed. I just placed one of the gel packs on the back of my knee that's not covered by either brace or dressings and i can immediately feel the cold seeping thru. I love this thing. When i was mobile, the knee wrap stayed put too. The packs stay cold for a long time and the quality of the neoprene is excellent as well. For anyone looking to purchase a knee wrap, this is a no-brainer. Spend the extra bucks for a quality, long-lasting product, you will not be dissappointed.

The best wrap ever! The Velcro straps prevent the wrap from sliding, and the removable, Velcro attached ice packs are very convenient, as they can be placed anywhere, which aids in achieving relief in multiple areas. It is also very convenient to have additional ice packs to keep on hand in the freezer!The ice packs can also be heated in the microwave if necessary....

I just got ACL reconstruction surgery and meniscus repair surgery and was in severe pain. A friend gave me his old active wrap, it worked very well but had to have been very old because the design does not compare to this. The design is so easy to put on and fits perfectly. I think this is the best wrap on the market and is totally worth the price if you are in severe pain like I am. The fit of the brace allows the cold compression on your entire knee, I think if someone went with a cheaper poorly designed wrap they would regret it, this is totally worth the money.

I bought this to help treat chronic inflammation in an injured knee. I was tired of having to sit whenever I needed to ice or heat the knee. This way I can still move around the house. I don't like it, however, for walking or biking. Better to wait, I guess, and apply ice after the activity. The wrap comes with two hot/cold packs and has a pocket that allows you to choose one or two layers between the hot/cold pack and your skin. Good product.

The gel packs stay cool for a fairly long, get cold quickly. I like that you can move them around in the wrap to really target the cooling and pressure. The wrap is very nice and has a nice snugness to it.

I really like this wrap. It's super cold (I recommend putting layer between you & the wrap), the cold lasts awhile (much longer than most), and provides compression. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is that I wish the Velcro started sooner on the wrap than it does. I bought the small, but I should've bought a large. I had knee surgery and the small barely fit around my leg with it wrapped (but the cold did get through the bandages!), even now that it's unwrapped, my knee's still a bit too swollen for the wrap to fit fully around (there's lots of Velcro, but mine latches to the very end of it). Overall, it's a great wrap, but if you have knee surgery, I'd definitely recommend buying the large! (To give you an idea, my knee itself prior to surgery was 13 inches, while the thickest part of my thigh was 22, so the small would be perfect for my pre-surgery knee.)

I bought this knee wrap because I got a total knee replaced. I just received it and it won't work. My problem is they will not replace or return this wrap. I would suggest that if you need a knee wrap keep looking. I am highly disappointed!!!

I've tried a various wraps, and they all fall apart after a few months, or the velcro destroys the fabric after a while so that it makes it very difficult for the straps to adhere. This one is made from a sturdy fabric that does not do that, and has not pilled or affected the fabric at all. The wrap stays on securely and does not budge. It provides some compression, as well. This wrap seems as though it will last a long time, which is good, considering the cost! The ice packs (there are 2 included, so 1 can be ready in the freezer as a back up at all times) are very cold, but I put a thin towel on top of them before applying to my knee. The packs have a sleeve that you place them in made from a sturdy nylon fabric. This fabric has 4 large strips of velcro (one on each corner) that adheres to the inside of the wrap. Great design. Worth the $$!
