Exercise Yoga Mat Gym Bag w/Cargo Pocket

Great bag!!This is the first mat bag I've owned, and I'm very pleased! There are many choices on Amazon, some very expensive ones. These fall into the affordable and well made category. The material is very thick and will not break. I ordered the pink color, it is more light pink. That's ok I still love it!! Another plus is the cargo pocket. It is very large, I fit my phone, keys, mat cleaner, and strap in it. The bag itself is roomy, I fit my mat and mat towel in it, and has a drawstring to ensure nothing falls out. Would I recommend this to a friend? I already have! Fast shipping and great product. I have my eye on the tree of life one next!

Beware, if you're a double-mat practitioner like I am, fitting a 3mm and 5mm standard size mat into this bag will be an exercise in frustration. Don't even try two 5mm mats. After expending significant effort to roll both of my mats very tightly around each other, I was able to get them in the bag and zip it up most of the way. Left it overnight, and could zip it up some more. A couple of days of stretching out, and I am able to get them in now, but it is putting a lot of stress on the zipper seams. Two 3mm mats shouldn't be a problem. The little pocket on the outside is virtually useless once you have two mats in the bag, but if you practice with a single, you might be able to get a thin eye pillow or sweat/head bands in there. I bought the green one and the color is fantastic. The symbols are of high quality and the canvas the bag is sewn from seems very durable. I've washed it 4 or 5 times in a machine washer with no perceptible damage. Two months in, the straps are holding up, even riding my motorcycle at over 70MPH with it slung over my back like an archer's quiver. I do think the strap seams will be a weak point but if you're just carrying it from my car or bicycle into the studio, you should be fine for a long time. All in all, I think the bag represents a good value.

I am a yoga teacher and have had many different yoga mats and bags. This mat bag needs to be at least 2 inches longer so the fabric and drawstring can completely seal the mat. Take this bag outside on a rainy day with the mat exposed, and you'll be waiting for days for the mat to dry. The pocket is a nice size and fits my lavender bottle, pen, key, phone, and tiny water bottle. The strap is a comfortable width and easy to adjust.

This is a great bag. However, all of the comments are about the width, not the length. I have a standard mat (24" wide) and wish this bag was an inch or two longer. That said, the durability of the bag is great, the strap is adjustable and attaches sturdily to the bag. The pocket is extremely useful. I bought the black bag and the chakras show up vividly. I only wish it was a bit longer. I would swap it with the seller if it was an option.Updated: 4/3/16: I bought a new 26" wide mat and it sticks out of the end more than I would like. If this bag was available in a longer model I would buy it in a heartbeat. It is a really great and good looking bag, but too short.

This yoga mat bag is gorgeous, in a vivid purple cotton fabric, true to the picture shown at Amazon,with actual embroidering of the 7 chakras, in vivid colors, a very roomy size that fits my new Jade Harmony yoga mat, with room to spare, and a nice side , zippered pocket that fits my phone, keys, etc. I really love it and I'm very pleased with this purchase, especially at such a low price. I've gotten tons of complements on it from other yogis I practiced with. Thank you !

I bought the bag in pink. The pink color in reality is prettier - it's a lighter and brighter powdery pink. It definitely has a girly look. It's just big enough to put my mat roll in (24-1/8 inch). I like the zipper that goes from the side all the way to cover the whole top so that the bag can be opened completely from one end to the side to easily put in the mat roll. There is still a space of one inch (or 1/2 inch space on both ends) that may not be used for too much of anything.I haven't used the outside two pockets yet, although they can be used for relatively flat items, such as hair bands and socks. I only use the bag to carry mat from home to my car to protect it from scratching and wares and tears from pulling with hands. I adjust the strap short so that I can carry it comfortably on one shoulder and push it all the way to the back (without carrying it under my arm to get in the way of my elbow movements). When I arrive at the gym, I take the mat out to carry it to the yoga class by hands to avoid laying the bag on the floor, or taking extra floor space.

I had to wait a while, which was frustrating for me, because the purple-colored yoga mat bag in the OM design was temporarily OUT OF STOCK. Finally, I was able to place an order via Low Baller, but a third party seller, probably working with Low Baller, shipped the yoga mat bag to me. I must admit this yoga mat bag is very good. I already had purchased one in pink via Low Baller and was equally pleased with that item as well. I recommend Low Baller. Their yoga mat bags are of good quality, being made of a durable canvas with two additional cargo pockets for incidentals and zippers for closing. Also, they are machine washable (cold setting);hang dry. And that OM Design is just the right touch---I am MUCHO pleased!!!.

I purchased this yoga mat bag mostly because it was purple and could carry my mat. I have been extremely happy with it. First, the colors of the bag and the embroidered chakras are beautiful. It has plenty of room for eye pillows, cell phone, a drink, or anything else you need for class. Secondly, it is very durable. I found out just how durable when my cats tried to use it as a scratching post. Not a single stitch out of place, and no tears or claw marks at all (a miracle). So overall, it's a beautiful and durable bag. I love mine, and would definitely recommend it.
