Absolutely amazing and so happy I found these! I bought several for my girls, myself and my aunt. My aunt and I battled with sun damaged skin and skin cancer on our faces. Sun hats are a must for our family. The problem is that hats can be hot and fly off on boats or on the beach. Not these. They’re UPF, swimsuit material so they’re light and dry quickly. The best part is the brim has some cool way to make the hat stay put! We brought ours to Jamaica where it’s quite windy. Our hats stayed on. Oh, and another note: as my husband tossed my 6 year old into the pool, most of the time her hat stayed on! So proud that these come right from my hometown in Maine!

I am an adult and bought this hat in the child size. It fits a little tight but I knew the adult size would be too big. I bougjt it for times when the wind would be a factor and didn't want to worry about my hat blowing off and it would provide the UPF protection. This will work fine. It is not the most fashionable but it will do the job.

Awesome, that's the word that describes how effective this hat is. Let me start by saying I was skeptical when it arrived. I almost sent it back and thank goodness I didn't. It felt too lightweight and not stiff enough for a "hat." But that's it's secret, OMG! This hat is amazing, the lightweight design counteracts the heaviness of the water when wet so there is no brim droop, it holds fast to the head without feeling tight, and you forget that you're wearing it. I swam in surf, dived, jumped into pools, and even snorkled in this bad boy. Two weeks of swimming it came off twice in the surf but there it was 2 feet away it bobbing on the surface. No sun burn, no reddness, no pain and looks like I just pulled it out the package. Easily the best purchase for my vacation and now I'm gardening with it -LOVE it. Wish I could have passed them out to every child on the beach. Thank you Coolibar!

Just received the hat today and am looking forward to taking it to the beach with me! I haven't tried it out in the sun and sea, but the hat fits nicely. It's easily packable and lightweight. It feels like it is made out of a heavy swimsuit like material so it is soft and the top is a little stretchy. It fits snuggly enough that it won't be blown off by the wind, but not too snug that it is uncomfortable. I'm guessing that if it gets wet it will dry quickly. The print is cute but would like to see this hat in some solid colors too.

Love this hat! This is the 4th bucket hat that I've ordered for myself. I love the new pattern. The hat stays on while I'm on the boat and I've even accidentally worn the hat while I was water-skiing and it stayed on!! This is a definite must have for everyone in your house!

I like that it's so lightweight and the spf factor.Just wish it was a little more snug.. but I have a small head.

I have tried many UV Hats but this is the best. I am an adult but opted for the small size that fits like a glove. I purchased two one white, one tan. They fit well and do not make your head sweat and the brim is the perfect size to cover the face and ears. I recently went to an amusement park and rode the tilt a whirl and a roller coaster and the hat stayed on, no problem. Went to a water park and the hat withstood having water dumped on me from a ride and dried out quickly. I will buy more of these in the future. How awesome to be made from bathing suit material, Great Idea. IT'S A WINNER.

We love this hat! We can throw it in the diaper bag and not worry about it being a crazy shape when we pull it out. It’s floppy brim keep the sun out of my babies face and looks adorable on her! We’ve gotten tons of compliments! Considering buying a different color just because it’s cute!
