Glad to find the OEM replacement
I like my PC sander and was disappointed to find the pad destroyed from my last use a few months ago. I was super happy to receive this in only 2 days so I could get back to my project. Thank god Amazon seems to be back to quick deliveries again. They were taking more than a week for a while and I was worried my stock would decline even more due to disappointed customers.

The other day I wanted to fix a scratch on a friend's car, I took my medium pad and some polish, then I realized the contour pad of my Porter Cable Random Orbiter was in pieces. I had this tool for a few years, maybe 5-7, not sure, and I keep it in my garage, I'm in FL, so 90F + Anyhow, I visited Amazon and I found this 18002 pad, this is the real thing, exactly like the original.

Does what it is supposed to do. The backing part of the pad will deteriorate over time (I'm not sure exactly how long the previous pad lasted but is was well over 5 years) which is why I had to replace it.

Had this P/C random orbit sander when they were making them in USA hope this holds up as well

Excellent replacement part
I have had my porter cable polisher for about 20 years now and the hook and loop pad just wore out and this was the perfect replacement part.
