Really, endless recipes you could use! A little smaller than a Ebleskiver.
I like trying new ways to make food. I was thinking this maybe an electric version of the egg waffle iron. And maybe you can pour the batter so it covers more than just the circles. I didn't try that yet. Next time.It came with a S.S. tong, which could scratch the surface. oil brush, which I didn't use. I forgot to put oil on and found it didn't need any. Little healthier? And the batter bottle (#4 plastic). I have a S.S. pancake dispenser. I did use that, but I found it faster to use a table spoon and pour a spoonful in each well. The word 'Commercial', I thought it might heat up so fast that I would be racing to get them back off. Not the case. It took time to make each batch. (We are 4 generations, so there was a lot of us waiting for ours to get done.) If you just want pancakes, this is too time consuming. But I really like this and I'm not a big fan of standard size pancakes. These taste different, even if they're made with the same recipe.NO instructions on making the pancakes or recipes. Nothing. Except> TURN TEMP to "0" when you turn it off! I did NOT check where it was set when I plugged it in. (It was on and set on the highest temp.) It blew the breaker. I had to go flip the breaker. So, make a NOTE to be sure it's OFF and set to ZERO.AND it says not to put water on it. You can clean it with mild soap. I think they meant while it's HOT, don't put any water on it. I washed it well before the first use. But after, only a damp paper towel to clean it.I put the walnuts in first to start heating them up, as I made mixed up my batter. I tried filling with the batter dispenser and that was fine, but I found it just as fast to use a table spoon and then there wouldn't the dispenser to clean. I used a wooden skewer to flip them over. Using two would work best. Maybe chopsticks. But the point on the skewer got under the mini pancake easy. And you can use those to lift up the edge and peek to see if they're brown and done. Then I used a silicone tong to take them out. I want this to last and not have scratches on the non-stick surface. So no metal tools. If the mini pancake doesn't rise enough to fill the well, when they're flipped, you can set them in between the wells on the flat surface to brown them. (See all of the photos for tips.)I mixed up the batter and used half as is, then added one ripe mashed banana to the batter and poured that over the walnuts. Sprinkled powered sugar on before serving. Syrup or jam. They were very, very good! You can make endless variety of food. This is just a little smaller than a Ebleskiver, but probably the closest way to describe this mini pancake maker. Never used any oil. Clean up was just wiping it was a damp paper towel. It's just FUN to change the way you make your food. I'm happy I ordered this. The only thing I'd like them to add would be a cover for storage. Keep it clean. This recipe is what I used the first time and it work so well.Pancakes; One &1/2 cup All-purpose flourThree & 1/2 teaspoon baking powderOne tbs white sugar1/4 teaspoon salt (+/- to taste)One & 1/4 cup Milk (I used 2%)3 Tbs butter, melted1 eggSift dry ingredients, make well, add wet ingredients, stir to blend.(Then to half of the batter, I added one ripe banana, mashed and walnuts, optional)

works well!!
It works really well I don't know if I'd call them necessarily pancakes, I mean they're a little thicker than typical pancakes, but still amazing. They're kind of like mini muffin size. They're really good though and being able to make 25 at once is a bonus. Can't wait to mess around with different things in this!
