Look...it's a $9 clock. But if you need a cool little table clock and you like the clean art deco look. Just buy it. Bonus...the secondhand sweeps (vs clicks) like a rolex. Also makes it silent which some people prefer over a ticking clock. Keeps good time too!

I am very happy with this alarm clock. Easy to use, pretty color, perfect size and is loud enough to wake me. I have substantial hearing loss.

whAt do you use an alarm clock for? I have to sgtand it on a plate to nhear it. You sold it as a LOUD alaerm clock.

The alarm was loud for sure. But, it was a larger clock than I expected. It was not backlit and numbers were not readable in dark. On-off was small button on back and hard to find in the dark when trying to shut off the clanging! Easy to grab and drop, too.

This is an excellent alarm clock for children since it is easy to set and use and it is also an excellent alarm clock for sound sleepers. Here are my thoughts on the DAXSMY loud alarm clock:PROS:1) If you need it dark and quite to fall asleep this clock will not bother you at all. It has a silent movement and if you want to tell the time in the dark you have to press a button to illuminate the face of the clock. So, an excellent choice for those who struggle falling asleep.2) This is just like the alarm clocks I had as a child except it is electric instead of mechanical. So, this makes it easy to set the time and alarm. Nothing fancy on it. The ease of setting makes it still a great choice for a children's alarm clock.3) The clock actually does a good job of keeping the correct time. I have not had to adjust it yet. I guess I will get to adjust it one hour this weekend as we switch to daylight savings time!4) The alarm is insanely loud. It will wake up others down the hall from my room. So, if you are a sound sleeper this thing should help wake you up.Conclusion:I do not see where you can go wrong with this clock unless you want the dual alarms, Atomic Time, and other fancy things that make the clock more difficult to use and program. It does use a battery to run it, so one does need to check that every so often so you are not late to work because your battery died on your alarm clock!RATING SYSTEM:I review a lot of products because I know reading other peoples reviews are very helpful in selecting the right product. I saw a reviewer that gave a rating scale and I thought, "that is useful". When one is reviewing from underwear to air compressors having a way to tell you why I rate is important.Here is my rating scale:5 Stars: Excellent product, I highly recommend this product for anyone.4 Stars: Good product, but there are some quality, functionality, or design issues, but will still work well.3 Stars: Okay product, it will work for some people but not all people.
