I bought this to replace a missing stand as I bought this TV used from someone who had previously mounted it on their wall and no longer had the stand.The stand is made of thick black painted metal. The assembly is relatively easy after a brief period studying the diagrams in the instruction booklet, my only complaint is that some of the labelling in the instructions are in quite small characters so if you are elderly or have poor eyesight it could be difficult to read them. The only tool required is a Phillips screwdriver.My TV is a heavy plasma at 30KG and the screen is 37 inches, the stand does a good job supporting its weight and there's no risk of it toppling over. The reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because I cannot adjust the legs such that they are at the same angle no matter how hard I try. I believe this may be to do with my TV not being equally weighted on the left and right side, so one leg has to hold more weight than the other, causing it to bend in a different way - you can see what I'm talking about in the fourth image.The leg construction also adds a lot of depth to the TV at the back which could be a disadvantage if you wanted to put the TV close to a wall. You can see what I'm talking about on the third image.Other than this cosmetic disadvantage, I'm very happy with the stand and its quality. It means I can avoid having to buy one of the super overpriced original stands on eBay that sell for more than I even bought this TV for in the first place. If you're in a similar position to me, this could make a good cheaper alternative to buying the original stand.

The stand is currently holding my TV, a 42" LED and I am very happy with it, well worth the 5stars (although the instructions are a little small and not the best in the world I didnt see the point of marking the product down. Assembly is not too hard, there are only a few pieces and they can only really go together one way, same with the bolts, the instructions may not be the best but the bolts are all different sizes and in different quantities so you just have to figure out how many go where and you are away',a bit of time and patience and it was done in around 15-20 mins including attaching to the TV.Overall it is a neat solution for my need to put a TV on a cabinet where the original stand wouldnt work. I feel that it is actually quite secure too.It is possible to adjust the heigh up and down based on where you attach the stand to the TV as well as how you attach the legs to the brackets. It can also be tilted a small amount which is very handy.Overall very happy.

As to this item, my purchase experience was very awful... the product was wrapped badly with a shabby paper box, which was not well protected. Thus there were too many scratches on the item...looked very ugly. Very disappointed with its package.The steel brackets were extremely thin, thus flimsy. I'm afraid it could not hold my large plasma TV at all. I had not assembled this for I would like to return this for a refund. Get away from this product with such bad quality!

Arrived quickly, fitted fairly easily but not quite suitable for TV as advertised but that may be my lack of understanding. Seems a good product though.

Once assembled it does the job perfectly holding my 48 inch television. The only issue I had was the instructions and one of the pre drilled holes was slightly "off " centre which took a bit of doing. Apart from that it does an excellent job. I'm a woman in my 50s and not used to putting things together but would definitely purchase this product again.

We purchased this for our 55” TV. that we had taken off the wall. The description said that this stand would hold the TV however as soon as the stand was on and we let go the brackets completely buckled!!! We had held onto the Tv as we did feel that the metal was very thin and doubted whether it would hold. Would not buy again.

Good tv stand it looks flimsy but actually works really well

Really (!) wobbly (49" tv), with flat edge foot not sitting flat on surface.Another £10 gets something that is a lot more stableReturned.
