This lock looked great and seemed to do the job perfectly for the first three months of use. But yesterday I locked my bike up, and then an hour later it simply wouldn't unlock (the code was correct and it hadn't been fiddled with or reset). There was no reason why it suddenly wouldn't unlock (I'd used it earlier that day without a problem). I had my two young children in the bike trailer attached to the back - with no way to cycle home. Had to wait for my husband to come with a metal saw and cut it off. I definitely wouldn't recommend the product.

Does what it sets out to do: big, strong, with a nice carrying system. A hefty lock that would probably deter most thieves. But forget tying both wheels, frame, saddle etc together — the cable's too short for any more than hitching to a stand/lamp post etc.

If you’re looking for a bike lock that is more sturdy, get a D lock as this won’t protect you from people that carry tools to cut through locks however, I used this at work that’s 99.9% secure anyway, I just keep it there to stop staff moving my bike and as an extra security for anybody who’s looking for a quick bike to pinch (other staff members don’t even bother having a lock). So if you’re looking for something similar, it’s great and lightweight, however I wouldn’t leave my bike locked up in a public place with this lock as an opportunist would cut straight through it.

Kids love using these.Got it for my 7 & 8 year old and they've been so excited to use it.It's bright colours and pronounced groves for great grips are brilliant for small hands.It doesn't get stuck and it twists smoothly.It's also very thick and has a robust feel. I'll have to replace my more expensive thin shop bought one for this much thicker one.

Not much to say here except that it does what it says on the tin and feels impressively sturdy. I doubt anyone is going to manage getting it off easily. The combination is extremely easy to set and the number wheels have a good click to them. The mounting bracket is also great - once attached you can clip the lock onto your bike frame and easily unclip it with the push of a button when needed. I got the black one because my bike is also black but I love the look of the other colours too!

Don't fool yourself if you think this lock is going to keep your bike safe just because it has positive reviews. Its cord can be cut easily with a relatively small cable cutter. My bike got stolen yesterday. I was 50 meters from it and saw practically the whole thing: a young guy cutting the lock, immediately jumping on the bike and running away while I was chasing him. Hear my advise and spend some extra pounds on a D-lock.

It's really useful!It comes with two rubber blocks for you to put under the ring in order for it to stop moving when attached to your bike frame.It works well and the clip is strong enough that you dont feel like the lock is going to fall off.

Apart from the fact that is very sturdy and will certainly keep my bike safe, I liked that it comes in different colours and therefore you can pick one depending on the colour of your bike. It is also easy to set up and use. Best thing is that it can be adjusted to the bike so you don't have to take it on a separate bag or have it rattling around while riding.
