Our hats are made with a lightweight satin lining. The purpose of the satin lining is to protect your hair--day or night. It provides protection from the harsh fibers of your pillowcase, the friction that causes tangles while you are sleeping and the outside elements that damage hair on a daily basis. It is great for all types of hair, especially natural hair & naturally curly hair. It can also extend the life of your hair-do, because it protects your hair while you sleep, so your hair will look just as good when you get up, with only a touch up required. You can also use this cap with conditioning cremes & oils, although it is recommend that oil/creme use not be exposed directly to the fabric as it can cause permanent staining. Oils may also cause the satin to bleed. We recommend using a plastic cap underneath the hat for use with oils/cremes. Each hat has a black satin lining. The outer material is made of a soft, stretchy cotton (95%) & Lycra (5%) blend. The inner satin is made of polyester weaved into a smooth satin finish. The band is made of elastic, and has 22" of elastic for a snug fit. The satin lining is made slightly larger than the outer material so it can accommodate all your hair comfortably, and the outside is stretchy. Why buy from us? Elastic has stretched out
It started out fine and fit well but with continued use, the elastic has stretched out and now it does not fit. It has become too big and falls off at night which defeats the purpose. The product is well made however the choice of elastic was a mistake especially for price. I would have expected it to last much longer than it has. I am disappointed and would not recommend this product since it has lasted just under 3 months.

It sucks.
It was too small, the wrong color and the inside is not satin, It's polyester!!!! I have a satin pillowcase and the material inside this too small cap was not satin. Will I buy it again? No. Will I recommend it to a anyone else? Yes, if I wish to not be a friend any longer. I'll keep it in case one of my granddaughters needs something to put on their heads when they come over. It should fit them.

Good for small heads.
I think this would work really well for people blessed with small heads. It was tight, and after a few days (I wear hats daily during cold months) the band just sort of gave up; it lost its shape which caused bulging and the satin inside to pop out. I returned it.

Love the color
I love the color of this beanie; the size is also a perfect fit for me. For all the wavy, curly, and ladies with coils, your hair will not thirst. My coils can attest to that.One negative: this beanie cannot be worn out of the bag; hand wash is a must before your first wear. As this review is about function and not smells, the 5 STAR rating is well deserved. I am one happy Finicky Shopper!

Don't believe the hype
Does not fit well, demo gives the illusion that there is roomy. Cap fits like a tight skull cap, would not purchase, and not recommend unless you have a small head.

One of my favorite multipurpose items!!!!!
Where have these multipurpose items been all of my life? I wear them under head wraps or alone (sometimes add cute embellishments) and to sleep (and leap straight outta bed to run a quick errand with it still on). The’re cute all around.

Its expensive but Its ok.
I liked it but over time it stretched out. I had 22 inch braids in my hair so you can imagen why it got stretched out. I have a small head. Nothing to talk about. Good product but too expensive and it lost its shape. It is as described and is as it looks in the pic.

Okay Cap
There were a couple of issues I've found with this cap. The first and most noticeable is that the lining is not actually Satin but more of a nylon per say. That was a dissapointment. The second issue I found with this cap is the elastic band is not holding its shape. It seems to be stretching out and twisting. The color is great. Nice and vibrant however, I think ill give the original SLAP cap.a try to see if it lives up to the hype.
