Poncho Pleasure
I was actually very surprised by the quality of this poncho. I expected a cheap, lightweight plastic bag that I could use in a pinch. What I got was a well made, relatively sturdy, well thought out poncho. The materials are of good quality and of reasonable gauge (not flimsy). The poncho can be used as a blanket or tarp if necessary and has grommets around the edges to support this function. When used as a poncho, the sides (where your arms protrude, have 3 solid plastic snaps each allowing you to create arm holes and hold the poncho together in wind. The neck area has a nice zipper feature. The hood is the right size and does not extend way beyond your face obstructing your vision like some other products do. It comes in a zippered storage bag of the same material and pattern which is a nice touch. This is a great poncho that will keep you dry for years to come and is ideal for the car, backpack or just hanging by the door to take the dog out for a walk. You won't be disappointed.

Meh, not the best, but what do you expect for the price???
Wearing the JTENG poncho is slightly dryer than standing in the rain without it. It's a cheap poncho. Given all the glowing reviews, I expected a bit higher quality but given the price should have expected about the same as the cheap ponchos you can find at big box outlets or ball games. The zippered neck makes the neck hole slightly larger, but not enough to make a real difference. The zipper is the lowest quality zipper I've seen. A zip lock food bag closure would be more rugged and long lasting than the zipper on this thing. The cost of the bag it comes in could have been put into a real neck zipper and more attention/quality in the stitching/seams and made this a pretty good cheap poncho. If you want something slightly better than the typical single use, throw away poncho, this will do. If you're expecting good quality fabric, leak proof seams, a rugged zipper, and well designed hood you'll want to keep looking... this one isn't the one. Will it keep you from getting soaked at a ball game? Maybe, as long as the seams don't leak right away. Is it suitable for hunting, camping or inclement weather chores? Not even close.

All around Rain Poncho for your out door adventures
The Rain Poncho is a standard Adult size coated water protection coat. The weight is very light weight, the material is good quality and should provide years of service wear. The hooded opening has a zipper making easier to take it off and on. Sturdy snaps on the sides make it easy to keep the water out and the person dry. The Poncho comes with a tote bag for storage and safety for when not needed. Having used Ponchos for several years in US Guards and Boy Scouting I find this one better designed, lighter in weight, making it great in the great outdoors for camping, hiking, fishing, and the un expect shower, this Poncho will do the job at keeping you dry at a reasonable price.

For ~$20 this is a great poncho/field tarp
For ~$20 this is a great poncho/field tarp.If you are former military and are looking for the Army grade field poncho, this is not it. The primary reason is the buttons; there are only 2 per side and they are cheap, so they pull apart pretty easily. The Army ponchos are made to be able to snap 2 together and be pulled tight to make that good old shelter we all spent the night under in basic training. These buttons will simply not perform in that one particular scenario. And just FYI it does not seem to be quite as long as the Army poncho. Yes, it is long enough to drape over a backpack/rucksack, but you'll be getting wet from the waist down in that case. But the ruck? Nope, it will stay nice and dry.

Drawstring broke.
Great poncho, but minus one star due to drawstring breaching. It isn’t a big deal because I just ordered a replacement. I would much rather the drawstring be a bungee string instead of a shoelace. Another thing that broke was the zipper on the pouch, but that’s really not too important to me. Other than that though this is a great poncho, it works great as a tent, and when I’m wearing this and all my gear it fits nicely.

This is a very nice poncho for the money
This is a very nice poncho for the money. I've used this a few times in downpours when camping and most recently during Hurricane Harvey rains and it performed well. Material is nice, there was a bit of seam tape coming off near the neck but no big deal. The neck / head opening is a bit small for a guy my size but it works find and I do appreciate the smaller opening once the heavy rains come down.

Very happy.
I couldn't get the old Army official poncho at a reasonable price so I went with this. Tied my wooby in it and used it as a cho-wooby combo. Didn't have all the same snaps and grommets the old cho did but the material is great and I was able to use it in similar fashion. I would give it 5 stars if it hd the same umber of grommets snaps as the official cho.

Good for the money
Haven't used yet but fits comfortably and has great coverage. Packs down small and pretty light in it's own matching zip pack. Zipper doesn't want to lock down on mine so comes unzipped easily. Tie strings could also be heavier... feel pretty flimsy. I bought a second one after my husband saw mine. You could snap the 2 together for use like a tarp if you want.
