Can a lighter be worth this much? YES it can!The unit is exceptionally well made out of what looks like cast aluminium and has significant heft to it. The fit and finish is superb, as is the design with a reassuringly well made flip up lid. Lighting the unit is effortless as it's all electronic, so just press the button for a reassuring click (low pressing force is all that is needed).The strange purple plasma crossed-beams are interesting in themselves, and never fail to light.This lighter is high quality and will probably last a life-time with the removable battery. The plasma cuts off after 7 seconds, for safety I guess, and re-lights instantly.While the battery is removable, the unit charges with the battery remaining fitted via a USB port.

Absolutely beautiful lighter. You can see from the pic i used it extensively. Only charged it 3 or 4 times since i bought it. Works really really well. The reassuring heft lets you know its always there and it feels awesome in the hand.The removable battery and auto shut offreally sets this apart from others.Unfortunately not shock proof. It takes a knock, dont get me wrong but it fell out my pocket on a stone floor and broke.What I was not counting on was the exceptional customer service.I am now in possesion of a second fully functioning lighter.Was replaced as soon as they could sort it. This i was as impressed with as the lighter itself.

Only had this one day but impressed so far. It looks cool, feels well made and has a nice weight to it.If you have pet dogs just bare in mind it makes a high pitched noise whilst in use and they really don't like it!

Hi. I am really happy to review this hi lighter. I am not a smoker but a gadget lover and keep collecting cool items mostly tactical ones. I must say it was an excellent decision to go for this Robust product by forhu. I have many e lighters even by Tesla but this one surpasses them by miles. The feel which comes just by handling this durable solid stuff in hand is incredible and the amount of sound it produces on igniting just tells the power and heat which it has to set anything flammable or non flammable on fire. Giving me the feel that i am never going to be without natures this power that is FIRE even at my work place or any where else in the field.... I think this item is going to last forever in my EDC bag. No wonder y forhu has given lifetime warranty for this. Anyone out there a gadget lover smoker non smoker i think should get one i assure u wont repent. I bought a silver one and it doesn't catch finger prints thats the best thing about it. Chao

My new electric arc Lighter arrived in good working order in spite of the box having a brutal bashing. This would have been more upsetting if I had not ordered it for myself, as I would have not been happy gifting it in the otherwise superb presentation box.This is very much a mans lighter. At 137 grams it weighs nearly 5 ounces, and is not something you would want to carry in your suit trouser pocket. It has a lovely rounded shape and the most fabulous solid feel, that is just a pleasure to hold in your hand. The smooth satin finish feels great and does not show fingerprint marks. The lid flips open and closes with a satisfying 'clunk' and a little blue LED lets you know that it is good to go. I quickly learnt to slide my thumb up to flick open the top, slide id down again to activate the ignition button, and flip the lid back down with my index finger. Anyone who has ever enjoyed playing with a 'Zippo' will be able to relate to the satisfaction that can be derived from this kind of fast and fluid action..... and no nasty petrol fumes either.Under the lid there are four electrodes that create two beautiful arcs of lightening that pass over each other to form a cross. This is intensely hot and you can hear a faint hiss ass the moisture in the air becomes super heated. You do not have to touch this area as proximity to the arcs is all that is required for ignition. This is incredibly powerful and would let you light up even in the strongest of winds. I used to smoke a pipe and am sure that design of this model would have worked well on a full bowl and been a great boon to me in those days.My lighter has not yet needed recharging, but I understand that it will only take about ninety minutes to do so and last for up to 200 lights. It can then be topped up via the supplied cable from any USB outlet.This is a really rugged outdoor lighter that would be easily held and operated by even the coldest of hands, and I also had no difficulty using it with gloves on. I have no difficulty in giving this a full five star rating.

Initially received this lighter with transport damage and Fuersun were extremely helpful and sympathetic to the situation and bent over backwards to help me and that is rare for many companies today. The lighter is the best arc lighter I have used and having a removable rechargeable battery means that you can buy an additional battery so you never have to worry about running out of power, I ordered some from FreshiUk (make sure you get flat head batteries). Having said that I have been using the lighter for three days and it's still going strong on the same charge. I charge the battery using a NightCore charger, outside the lighter, so I'm never without the lighter. This is not a throw away lighter and comes with a life time warranty, which means Forhu stand this product and that is shown by its quality. As other reviews have said that arc, plasma, tesla, or whatever term you name them by, are 100% windproof making them massive rival to a Zippo. This lighter is only really suitable for cigars and cigarettes their are other Forhu lighters that are more suited to lighting candles, bbq's, bonfire and pipes...look for the clipper type lighters. One last point is that this lighter is mildly heavy and it is chunky, but that adds to its design, which is the best of all of these lighters.
