Made of a spandex-like material. These are not absorbent, but are moisture-wicking material designed to keep your feet dry and comfortable. I am glad I had them for my tall boots to reduce chaffing from the top of the boot against my legs. Almost like compression socks.

Good not Great
So these socks seam to stretch 4 ways good but not nessesarly great. Makes my foot slide around in my shoe a bit, espeacily forward making them tight on your toes. Other than that they are easy to slip on and comfortable on your calves.

Team softball socks
This was a great value to supply the team with socks for a weekend tournament. They are not real thick and may not hold up to frequent sliding in softball, but they worked for a variety of shoe sizes in high school girls.

These are really soccer Sox. I wanted something warmer than trouser sox and heavier than nylon which would stay up all day. I think these eill be gone winter sox under pants
