Lovely taste, good amount and very versatile for Greek food

The only criticism is it’s more like an Italian herbs mix than a barbecue one, otherwise lovely fresh smell.

This greek BBQ mix is lovely, it gives me amazing vivid memories of my time in Greece and I would totally recommend it to spice up any dish!!

I am guilty of either buying a lot of store brand, or other known brands in stores (You know - Tiny jars that cost a fortune), which have clearly been sat stale for months.This is why I usually try to buy fresh herbs where I can. I live in a 1-bed flat, so trying to grow my own herbs is difficult. Trying to dry my own, even more difficult.I've tasted what fresh herbs, dried in the kitchen, hanging from some little shelf somewhere tastes like.It's nothing at all like what I buy in those tiny jars from my supermarket.This... This tastes very close to what growing and drying your own herbs tastes like.Clearly very fresh and from good quality plants.Considering this alone, I absolutely recommend!The fact that this is from organic produce and is good value, need I say more?!

So despite the item description these are herbs and not spices. The smell is gorgeous when opened with a lovely blend heavy on the oregano (80%) and balanced off with rosemary (10%) and thyme (10%). Works well as seasoning on white fish, chicken, pasta or pizza dishes…at a push can also work well in some Mexican dishes due to the high oregano percentage.At 100g the bag will last most households for at least a year, the average supermarket jar is 11g so ten times the amount. For the more adventurous it also works well making herby bread…yummy!!

This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.It comes well-presented in a secure, resealable bag - surprisingly much larger than I was expecting. The smell once opened is quite something, the contents are as fresh as dried herbs could possibly be.As we haven’t really had any ‘barbecue’ weather yet, I haven’t been able to properly test it out, but, I am looking forward to doing so. Recommended.

I hadn't realised just how much dried herb mix I would get for 100g. I had no idea how much was in the big brand glass jars sold in supermarkets so I have just checked and it's a teeny 11g. Doing the maths, the supermarket big-brand price is almost double per 100g what Apsogo are selling this packet for - although roughly the same per 100g as the supermarket own brand but it's handy to have a larger amount to hand and Apsogo is organic. I use the glass jars a lot as I use them to season Sunday roast dinners and also add them to steaks, chicken and fish. I am seriously impressed at the savings that can be made by switching. Looking at the contents, I see the big-brand does have another herb in the mix that this packet doesn't but it smells roughly the same and I couldn't say that the Apsogo was missing anything vital, it did what it is meant to do and just enhanced the flavour of the poultry. I will also use this to add to other dishes such as soups and stews in winter.

Not sure why these are labelled as spices, they are definitely herbs. The mix is most oregano (marjoram) with 10% thyme and 10% rosemary. It smells good and tastes good. It is labelled as organic. I'm always a little sceptical about that. Anyone can print a label with a logo. I'm not saying it's not organic, I really hope it is, just to be aware. It's a generous pack with a long shelf life. If you use a lot of dried herbs this is a great buy. If you rarely use them, then these will go off. Best stored in an airtight jar. Nice mix, nice flavour but herbs and NOT spices.

Ordentliches Gewürz, aber wie so oft erst in größeren Gebinden preislich interessant. Augen auf beim BBQ-Kräuter-Kauf.

Mit dieser gut abgestimmten Gewürzmischung lassen sich wunderbar Lamm oder Schweinestücke marinieren und grillen. Sehr lecker.Ein klein wenig davon im Bauernsalat ist ebenfalls eine Empfehlung wert.

Super Gewürzmischung mit allerlei mediterranen Gewürzen.Kann sowohl für Nudel, Fleisch als auch Fischgerichte verwendet werden.Geschmacklich top und dazu noch vielseitig.Ich bin sehr happy damit und wir verwenden es sehr häufig.

Die Gewürzmischung "Organic Greek BBQ Mix" bestehend aus Oregano, Thymian und Rosmarin ist wirklich spitze.Der 100g Mix kommt in einer Zippverpackung daher und ich finde es positiv, dass endlich mal eine vernünftige Verpackungsgröße verwendet wurde. Diese ist bis zum Rand voll und keine "Luftverpackung"Wir verwenden diese Mischung entweder um Fleisch damit zu marinieren oder am liebsten für Lasagne oder Ofengemüse. Hier passt es einfach herrlich. Die Mischung ist in Bioqualität und vor allem sind nur diese drei Kräuter enthalten, sprich ohne irgendwelche Zusätze.Der Geschmack ist sehr intensiv aber einfach nur lecker. Der Preis für die 100gr. ist mit 10€ recht teuer.Dennoch können wir diesen BBQ Mix empfehlen und geben gute ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sterne.
