Very pretty. My usual size is 6 to 8 in a dress. I ordered the medium in white - it looked fine but I thought maybe the small would be better and it was. So I would say this runs true to size unlike some dresses from Asia which run small. It's nice lightweight cotton. The details on the neckline vary - there is an extra strip of white cotton (for modesty?) there which I just sewed under as it wasn't needed - the neckline is quite modest already and prettier without that little strip. The side slits are very high - I am just going to sew them closed and wear it as a dress. The length is just below the knee where I like it. I am keeping both - will wear the medium around the house or even as a nightgown. Haven't washed them yet but imagine they will need ironing - but should be easy to iron.
