bought these to add extra muffling for my drumset. definitely a lot less echoey now. only complaint is it takes forever for any dent to decompress but my cat loves to lay on them when i'm not playing so I still call these a win

Much smaller than what I expected

I bought this to go under my baby's play mat. It's on a wood floor, and I hated the sound of his head bonking on the mat, or his heels pounding the floor when he kicks his legs while on his back. The sixteen tile set works great under a 48 inch play mat. It doesn't matter to me, but I got 8 black squares and 8 gray squares.The 16 squares came as 4 sets of four tiles, which is fine because it makes them more portable than one giant 48 inch square mat. After playtime is over, it's easy to pick up and stack the four 2ft square mats behind a door. If you want to assemble a 48 inch by 48 inch mat or two 48in by 24in mats, you'll have to use scissors and cut some of the skinny "end pieces" off. That's not difficult to do, but I am fine with four 24 inch square mats.The foam has a slight smell, which I guess will go away over time. It smells like new athletic shoes, so I'm assuming it's not off-gassing anything deadly or dangerous to breathe in.

I am currently using these for my home gym to protect my floor from my weights. I would absolutely recommend. I wouldn't drop my weights from any height, however it's a decent cushion and better for your body than the concrete I have.

I purchased 2 sets of the 12in square exercise mats, pkg of 36, on 2 separate occasions. They came in, worked great, both packages connected together seamlessly. I needed 8 more squares, so I ordered a smaller pkg of 12, and when they came in they did not connect. The interlocking cuts were different. I thought maybe it was because of the different size pkg. So I ordered another pkg of 36 figuring I would have extra for repairs down the line, and it just came in with the interlocking cuts different as well. The first set of pkgs connect with each other and the second set of pkgs connect with each other, but they do not all connect with each other! I realized in holding the squares up against each other that the product seems to have been cut on different sides in the lots. What I mean is, these squares have traction on one side and are flat rubber backing on the other. They are not reversible. So the first 2 sets I received the manufacture cut, e.g., with traction side up. The second 2 sets, the cuts were made with the other side up, e.g., rubber side up. This should be fixed. The whole purpose of getting floor tiles is to be able to extend the size of your floor mat in the future as well as be able to replace squares when they get ruined. Now I have partial mat I cannot seem to finish. Waste of almost $200. I tried to find a contact for this seller to ask for help but there is nowhere to do so. Yes4All please contact me.
