Yai's Thai Yellow Coconut Curry Sauce 16 Ounce Jar

I first tasted this at Costco - which is no longer carrying it. The curry is so easy to use and spice up some rice or quinoa - just add in some chicken and you have a ready-made Asian meal.

This stuff is quick and easy just pour it out. Put it with Jasmine rice your choice of meat select shrimp or chicken. It is off the hook delicious.

curry had weird texture. was thick like a paste. and too spicy.

The taste is good. But OMG it is sooooo spicy!!! No spicy on the label and when I googled red Thai curry everything I was reading was medium heat. But also I am white so maybe I am sensitive. I like it but way too hot!

I saw the reviews about needing salt and sugar and I highly disagree. I purchased this item because it was one of the few that did not have a bunch of crap in it, including sugar! I cooked as is with potatoes, jalapeños, cauliflower rice, ginger and pineapple, and it was absolutely delicious - very spicy but good.

Easy, delicious, well balanced curry sauce. Works with all kinds of vegitable or meat additions (try browning chicken thighs and then pouring the sauce over them to simmer to completion!), works on rice or Thai rice noodles, grill some eggplant slices under your broiler and use the sauce on them! Just very good for a quick easy simmer dinner in 30-45 minutes (depending on what you add!). We really love it - at one point we had a half dozen jars in our pantry, because we were making it once a week at least. Especially lovely in winter, for the warmth the spices give.

This stuff was overpriced, the flavor was off, and the texture was weird....it was way too thick. I do not recommend this product, and will not be purchasing it again. There are other jarred curry sauces that are so much better.
