Works well but be sure to use a TRS cord, not just a TS cord
Works well but be sure to use a TRS cord, not just a TS cord that is typically used between a guitar and an amp. Save yourself some time and order a TRS cord in the length you need, along with the pedal (the one they provide is less than a foot long). In the description, it does say "Flat TRS Cable included. (Note: A TRS Cable must be used for both switches to function, if you use a mono [TS] cable, only the left switch will send signal.)"

It works great but …
I disliked the fact that this pedal was used. I purchased a new pedal and Amazon sent a used pedal. I can tell because they used common scotch tape to repackage the item and it didn’t include any documentation. Everything is working fine but why should I pay full price for an item that is clearly used. Plus, I don’t know if I received everything I was supposed to receive. Again, it’s working great but I don’t like sloppy seconds when I’m paying full price. I would suggest buying direct from the factory instead of Amazon.

The Singular Sound Foot Switch Works Fine with My Beat Buddy Mini 2 Drum Pedal.
The Singular Sound Foot Switch Works Fine with My Beat Buddy Mini 2 Drum Pedal. I haven't used it much since I've bought it, but so far, it does exactly what Singular Sound claims. Y'all be patient; it's a learning process, at least for me, but once you get the hang of it, it's nearly indispensable. The switches (and the lovely mushroom-shaped toppers make barefoot-playing a joy) are smooth and I don't hear a click sound in my signal, unlike some of my other pedals. The signal itself, for both pedals, is super-clean. I run it separately through a second channel to my amp. It seems sturdy enough; I'm not a gigger or a pro, so I can't say how well it might hold up under extended playing conditions. For the price, I'm very happy!

Essential
If you have a best buddy, having this really is necessary. I have mine set up to do tap tempo (so I don’t have to bend over and turn the knob) and extra accent and a start/stop button. It makes it a lot easier to navigate. It’s definitely worth it.

Do not buy this footswitch!
I love the function of the footswitch but manufacture design is garbage. Cheap internals stop working after 20 to 30 clicks. I was so pleased with the Beatbuddy overall that I confidently tossed the packaging into the trash the next day for the garbage service. Unfortunately, 20 clicks later both the left and right buttons quickly showed their poor quality and intermittently stopped working or would switch untapped, until they stopped working completely. Return and refunds are only accepted with original packaging? Wonderful. So I just paid another $50 to order a new one and used the packaging to send back the defective one. I expected, or hoped it was just a defective unit, or it was possible that being heavy footed was my fault and planned to gently toe tap the new one and be easy on cheap design, even though I do play metal and wear biker boots. Again! I am not exaggerating, less than 30 taps while sitting in a chair with soft sneakers and soft tapping…defective! Worse…poor manufacturing and by no means a product that should be sold separately for $50! It isnt built well enough for light use at home much less with a live performance. Since I used the packaging to send back the first piece of junk, I’m stuck with the second one unless Singular Sound sound reads reviews and decides to accept it without original packaging for me. Singular Sound has put out such a great, and I mean the Beat Buddy is really very awesome and I love it, I don’t understand why they would team it up with such a disappointing and necessary accessory. I have spent a fortune on truckloads of gear over the years so the money isn’t the issue, I would prefer Singular Sound step up and look at their manufacturing on this product and make it worthy to the Beat Buddy and the Heavy Metal genre they market to, we need a pedal that can take a biker boot to the nose if it needs to, I’ve killed two of these units in minutes with soft sneakers. Do yourself a favor and buy a different footswitch, you can buy a Marshall 2 button with lights for half the price. One last shout to Singular Sound, Love the Beat Buddy excellent product! But your 2 button pedal…c’mon! Redesign that trash!
