Zinc front disappoints

Wavy ripples in the zinc front appear to be due to a deficiency in the manufacturing process (see video). I sent pictures to Amazon and was promptly sent a replacement fireplace. However, the replacement had ripples in the same places, but with the addition of an unsightly mark in the center (shown in photo). Ultimately, I returned the replacement and kept the original shipment. The multicolored flame with crystal/rock combination is so pretty that I decided I could learn to live with the ripples. The ripples, which look like dents at certain angles, will likely be a deal breaker for most buyers.My unit has been working as expected for a week, now. I like that I can enjoy the pretty fireplace lights year-round with or without heat. Thermostat settings are 62-82 degrees and “On”. Yes, the heater will turn off after a couple of minutes depending on the thermostat settings. Selecting “On” will keep the heater running. When the heater is on it makes no more noise than a ceramic tower heater. The primary reason I selected this fireplace is because the heat vents at the bottom and I plan to display items above. The bottom edge of the front gets warm to the touch when heater is running, but does not get hot. The heater part underneath DOES get hot, which may be an issue if you have small children. My fireplace was hung at a top front height of 42”, leaving 24.5” clearance from bottom front to the floor. Floor does not get warm.

Fireplace looks nice and is what I expected, however the front metal panel has a few dings. It's been banged around a bit. It came later then scheduled . Over all I am pleased. So far so good I've only had it for 3 days. Works well.

Looks nice but came broken
Product looks great on the wall and heats up my room nicely . However, the stainless steel came with a dent in it . Also it comes with a log that you can use and it was broken in the package .

Doesn't function
Love the look, hate the fact that it was dented on three corners and this morning it no longer heats. But it is real pretty in my blue kitchen!

the thermostat is not functioning - as a result the heat only blows for 2 minutes and then stops.

Heat does not work
after purchasing 3 of these I have to say how disappointed I am now went to turn on this fall & NO HEAT great lighting but I would like the HEAT, so think again before buying
