Fits and works just like original. Easy install.

I was able to use this tool to fix my blender. Very easy.

Had a bit of trouble removing the old part until I discovered it is opposite to "righty-tighty" So after loosening it up by turning it to the right, the new part was installed easily by turning it left to tighten it.

Product works fine and was reasonably priced without having to purchase several (who needs more than one?). This isn't the fault of the seller, but my particular model blender has raised sections around this making it impossible to insert the removal tool. After some research I found that if you take a flathead screwdriver and hammer, it's fairly easy to remove.

I accidentally ordered a kit without the extra spanner, and struggled to remove the old, worn-down coupling. But the space underneath is too tight for a regular wrench. On Youtube, I found videos of people prying it off forcefully, counting on the motor axle (steel) being stronger than the thread on the coupler (presumably aluminum).Don't damage your old, valuable blender like that! With the proper tool, the old coupler comes off easily, and the new one screws on without effort. Literally done in seconds. And so, my 18- year old KitchenAid lives again, having outlasted two other plasticky blenders.

This was very easy to change but I had to cut the wrench down in order to fit under it.
