Brought for my son, he hasn't been able to wear it as I had ordered the wrong size. My fault! Looks like there is good support for the thumb, which is what he needed.

bought a few different types of brace this one has benefitted my needs the best. would recommend

I bought both the left and right hand versions of this splint, and was very happy with the support it provided. However, after a while, the material produces a nasty smell. I have to wear this for work, and so wear it for a week, then wash it every weekend. I have found that even after washing, the nasty odour remains. This is not good as it is quite a strong smell - I have stopped wearing it to work as I'm afraid people will actually notice the smell! I am really disappointed as I really do like the support it provides, but due to the awful smell the material produces (even after washing) I had to give it 3 stars. In addition, the thumb strap tends to get caught, and always comes off, I have to keep sticking it back, so much so that the Velcro is starting to wear off.Note to manufacturers: PLEASE FIND A MATERIAL THAT DOES NOT PRODUCE AN ODOUR!!! I really need this splint support, its the only one I've found (amongst so many I have bought) to be the most supportive. But due to the smell - big thumbs down. Also please improve the thumb strap.

It works, it is very good an comfortable and affordable.

Bought this as fractured my wrist and you only get one on the NHS (I didnt want it smelling) it does the job but tends to dig in more than the hospital issued ones, the thumb part is also not attached the way the hospital ones are and has a tenancy to slip off, apart from that it does the job and worked well (my hand is no longer fractured so I assume it did anyway)

Good quality material and good support (to begin with). Unfortunately the thumb strap broke off after just an hours wear. Can still be used for light wrist support but was only bought because it came with thumb splint.Edit: after a few more wears i realised the thumb splint was rubbing the skin off my thumb. The metal strip does not stay inside the material and keeps pushing out!

Passo molte ore al pc per via del mio lavoro, in più a casa svolgo il doppio lavoro di fumettista, inutile dire che in pochi mesi mi sono procurata un'assillante tendinite. Ho deciso quindi di comprare questo guanto steccato come aiuto per non fare movimenti bruschi o sforzi nelle faccende di tutti i giorni, posso dire che è stato uno dei migliori acquisti della mia vita!È comodo da indossare in qualsiasi momento del giorno e della notte, con o senza stecca, a volte ci dormo anche. Riesco a guidare la macchina e addirittura a disegnare considerata l'apertura ampia sul palmo/dorso della mano.

Die Schiene immobilisiert sehr gut, ist stabil, schützt von weiteren Verletzungen an der Hand.

OTTIMO PRODOTTO

Mi sono ritrovata ad acquistare questo prodotto poiché mi capita di provare dolore e "debolezza" nel polso destro.L'ho acquistato per alleviare il dolore e tenere fermo il polso, essendo la destra la mano con cui scrivo, utilizzo il mouse e uso principalmente il cellulare, ma purtroppo non riesco ad utilizzarlo con costanza poiché non è comodissimo per fare nessuna delle azioni elencate.Il tutore presenta 2 stecche estraibili in metallo, una al lato del pollice e l'altra al centro del polso che risale sul braccio, ho dovuto estrarle entrambe poiché, nonostante stringessi il tutore il giusto per bloccare il polso, questi non permettevano il giusto afflusso del sangue e quindi la mano mi si addormentava. Sono rimasta perplessa quindi, nonostante abbia visto dei miglioramenti (ovvio, non posso fare nulla col polso mentre lo indosso), non riesco ad utilizzarlo con assiduità e a dargli 5 stelle.
