These are great disposable plates. I like them because they're strong and i don't need to double up like i have to with lesser quality paper plates. I love the risen edges as this stops my food from sliding off. These are great plates for a buffet and their square design makes them look classy.

This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.These plates were purchased to be used at dance parties where it isn't worth putting out and then washing real crockery. Standard paper plates are often too flimsy and leave people doing some weird dance as they try to avoid their piece of quiche from sliding off the plate or being crushed as they grip the plate too hard. The plates are much sturdier, and can easily support the weight of a few sandwiches, pies and bits of quiche without folding over on themselves.Obviously it's not as environmentally friendly as reusing crockery, but for those occasions where you can't really avoid using disposable plates it's nice to have something that works well and is kinder to the environment.

I'll rate this as much as the Fogo brand, because the quality is that good.

Great quality, eco-friendly sugarcane plates.They're a nice size, and have a decent dip in the middle, so everything should stay on the plate and not slide off. Much stronger than regular paper plates, and I really like that they are microwave safe, great for reheating leftovers without additional washing up.Perfect for savoury/sweets, and the classic design would suit any occasion, from a simple buffet at home, to bigger events such as a wedding etc.*Update - I have given them 4/5 stars now, as even though they are microwave safe, you need to be careful. I reheated a sausage roll using one of them, and the grease soaked through the plate after a while, and onto my table. So that's just something to be mindful of, especially if you were wanting to reheat something messy with a sauce etc.
