Outstanding quality
The quality is top notch. It’s heavier than other tawas such as Futura which is made with alloys. But it’s much lighter than a cast iron one. The tawa is not very deep, hence perfect for dosas and uttapams. Make sure to season it well. The black-grey coating goes away on its own - just give it a good wash, and season with oil once the tawa is heated. The wooden handle seems strong, but let’s see if it stands the test of time. Overall a good product.

Not a heavy tawa
I recently purchased the Amicus iron tawa and have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it's not as heavy as I expected, making it easier to handle. However, I've noticed that rotis tend to burn when cooked on high flame, which can be frustrating.Considering the price point, the product is fine, but I think the manufacturer should have been more transparent about its weight and heat distribution. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option and are willing to adjust your cooking technique, this might work for you.

Good for most parts except that it was delivered with some rust on the top of the tawa. Not cool.

ValueForMoney Good Buy
We were using nonstick for roti. It has its issues. Decided to buy this tawaa. This product is great. The thickness, solidly revetted full tang wood covered handle, and the iron quality as visible are great features. Its 2.5mm thickness. That makes it delicately good taawaa. Roti and Paraanthe comes out well. Dosaa also comes out good.Over all a good buy for home.If ypu are searching for a concave roti taawaa, occasional dosaa maker, then your search ends here.Happy...
