Absolutely awful! I bought three of these for a family trip to Europe where the forecast was rain nearly every day. The first umbrella lasted just a couple of days. The auto-open/close button did not work, and the umbrella couldn't even be forced closed. But once we pressed the malfunctioning button, it wouldn't open all the way again, either. We had to throw it in the trash because we couldn't get it in the suitcase in it's "stuck open" state. The second umbrella lasted a little longer, but the auto-open/close button wasn't working on that one either. The third one is still semi-functional, but a mild wind can turn it inside out. Save your money and find another brand!

It's windy where I live and this umbrella didn't stand up to the wind at ALL. It turns inside out against small gusts. You'll find yourself trying to face the wind to keep it from flipping inside out. The best thing about this is it's pretty compact and cheap. It's fine for normal rain but don't trust it to handle wind. Also it's a bit hard to close up and the button to close/open it can get stuck. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who has arthritis or joint pain, as i have had to wrestle with mine to open and collapse it.

As a New Yorker You always have to carry a good umbrella in your bag , because rain comes unexpectedly all the time.So I find myself buying umbrellas every few months.The most important thing for me is that it’s going to be light weight , because it’s always in my bag , so this umbrella is super light and takes very little space in my bag, add to those fact that it’s big enough when you open it and that the quality is amazing and you got yourself a winner!!

Bought this umbrella because it not only opened at the touch of a button, but closed as well. Problem IS - andI only discovered this problem the last two times I've tried to use it ………….. 1) You can't get it to return to itsfolded position (tried many times) and 2) Because it won't 're-seat', you can't get it to open UNLESS YOU HOLD IT OPEN WITH ONE HAND. Today, I had one hand full with carrying packages and the other was desperately trying to hold the umbrella open enough so I wouldn't DROWN,as we were having a downpour. Now I ask you: How helpful is that? An umbrella that won't work!! I'd like a refund!

This looked like such a good umbrella, so I ordered three. Not one of the three would close once they were opened. One was very hard to open (before not closing). An umbrella that neither opens nor closes is pretty useless. It baffles me how this product could get good reviews. Please, don't waste your money. Buy something else. I just returned them and will now look for something else.

Problems opening and closing too often. Living in Portland we go through umbrellas like others go through sunscreen. I'm hoping this holds up but don't have a lot of confidence in it.

Didn't hold up, and was rather expensive to have the same out come as much cheaper unbrellas.
