Lixada Fishing Reels, Baitcaster Reel Strong Corrosion Resistance Metal Saltwater Baitcasting Reel with Magnetic Braking System

I have had this reel for over two years and it is still going well, I have used it for fishing in estuaries so it has been exposed to a lot of salt water and I have had no problems. I brought it as a stop gap when my Abu reel packed up and needed to save up to get a better reel however this reel has never caused me any problems and since then have brought some more cheaper Chinese baitcaster reels due to the surprising quality of this reel.I think if anybody wants to try out baitcasting as a entry level reel based on my experience this would be a good start

Good little reel but don't believe the 12+1 bearing nonsense. The helpful part list included shows 5 ball bearings and 1 one way bearing. The good news is that the most important bearings, the spool ones , are easily accessible and a common size so easily replaced. The end plate with the brake setting knob twists off to give access to the spool and bearings. The line lay isn't great and the brake needs setting close to the max setting with a 30g lure to avoid over runs. After using the reel I took it apart, cleaned the manufacturing swarf out of the reel, put a good quality teflon grease on the gears and level wind, removed the bearings cleaned them and lubricated them with a heavier weight oil to slow them down a bit and help control overruns. It's now smoother than before and some odd noises have gone. I'd recommend doing it too if you have the ability. The drag is smooth and works well. The finish on the reel is good too. Overall though I'm very pleased with it for the price. Caught with it first time out.

A great little reel and my first ever baitcaster.Smooth faultless operation, reel tension, brakes and clutch all seem to work well. Smooth even line lay.We'll see how long it lasts, but I've had other Laxida kit with good results and for under £30 I'm blown away!

Went out fly fishing with a bobber to give the reel a break in and test its performance and overall went excellently. Cast a 5g bubble on a 10lb braid very well, no bird nesting on correct settings, smooth retrieve, and gets some good distance, easily casts 30-40 feet no trouble on my 7ft light spin rod.

Robust but not for bait casting, the spool is tiny and you cannot throw too far

Don't buy it's absolute garbage could not get spool to run free service it loosened every thing off no help had to pull it apart found what looks like plastic dust and chips in the small amount of grease in it, also it only has four ball bearing & one roller bearing which are of extremely low quality. Don't waste your money you will be replacing this reel very quickly after using it if you get that far.

I looked into using this bait caster and took the plunge and I have to say what a nice reel very light weight . when you set it up correctly next to nun birds nests which I was worried about caught a number of fish with it now sea and river. Very happy with it now it'd my go to.

I was very surprised at the quality of this real it's not Shimano but it does the job just as good quality fishing everyone 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣👍

Nice baitcaster for the price.

I was gifted a conventional rod with spin cast that ended up breaking from saltwater fishing. I am new to fishing and didn't know what baitcaster are, but did not want to throw that rod away. Bought this one. Skeptical at first as baitcaster prices aren't usually easy to enter.First use. Lots of backlash! But this was all user error. I was glad I was skunked the first few trips as it taught me to learn and keep casting for a few hours at a time. Started with a 20lb braid (6lbs mono diameter) then switch to 8 lbs mono to really practice. Now using 4lb setup for trout.Brakes work really well as well as the tension knob. It is all about the setup and conditions. Strong winds mean you need to cast strategically or increase break. I can throw half ounce with really lose tension and barely any breaks just using my thumb to feather/guide. Can throw 1/4 really well on a calm day.Durable reel. I fish saltwater / brackish water. And I am embarrassed to say I don't baby. The paint does chip easily but it's a workhorse. I have fought stripped bass with it biggest was a 22". Drag is strong enough that I have to loosen it a bit otherwise the hook rips out on trout / not much for bass but would not recommend setting it the highest as it does crank and you can risk popping the hook or snapping your line/rod.Corrosion resistant. I will say this. I have a surf rod meant for salt water. I used both about the same about and have dropped it in water too. Although I rinse my gear asap as every trip. My salt water reel still rusted a bit after taking it apart to perform after season maintenance. The lixada reel....no rust! I took it apart to service and clean off debris and no signs of rust.I really wanted to wait to post a review after a season of use. And this one is as durable as a very expensive reel. I cannot comment on performance as I do not own high end reels. But for the price you pay you get a quality reel.

Muy bien carrete hay que graduarlo hasta que te acostumbras a el se hacen nudos en el sedal pero son fáciles de sacar cuando está graduada recoge muy suave y tiene muy buena pinta
