This is my second set of clamps of this type. The first set came with a thick rubber piece that you would expect to work. Well it did its job, then dry rotted in the sun. I had to retap and replace the screws with a different pitch.This set comes with a much better rubber bushing. Something youll see with quadlock phone adapters. They fit better even though it has a smaller foot print. Less stress on the screws to stay secure. Only thing I would change is the casting marks are visable.

Holes are not big enough for led whips I have. You can drill them out a little more though. Works well for smaller threaded whips and light bars.

I was so excited to find these gems. I had seen similar products that fit on much larger tubes but none that were this small. I use them to attach a set of cross braces to the rooftop basket on my Jeep to which I have attached a solar panel. If you have a tube and want to mount things to it without drilling or welding these are the ticket and priced better than any others I have found.

Was exactly what I needed to finish my project. High quality materials, easy installation, super sturdy.

Cheap quick fix.

I ordered two types of mounts and these won the debate. I mounted these on a 0.875 hand rail on my boat. The other kit came with foam tape to tighten the clamps and these came with rubber mounded inserts. These gripped the rail and wouldn’t move! The other set could slide and roll and just wouldn’t survive a rough day on the water. Very pleased with these! Glad I ordered them!!

I have been trying for a month now to mount some driving lights onto my Indian scout. At first I wanted to mount it to the 1.75" fork, and ordered 4 different items that either didn't fit or didn't stay in place. Finally found these glorious things- just to decide I wanted the lights mounted to my 1.5" highway bars. This item in particular wasn't made for that small size, but using multiple of the rubber rings I got it to fit; snug as a bug in a rug! Did a 100 mile test ride- going through a horribly turbulent construction zone, on rut-filled dirt roads, and regular old 80mph highway- and the lights and mounts didn't budge. Highly highly highly recommend!

This is a great product with a great price. I will be ordering more. Well made and sturdy. I actually used them to mount a roof basket. I neen more for lights.
