Polymaker ASA Filament 1.75mm Teal ASA, 1kg Heat Resistant Weather Resistant ASA 1.75 Cardboard Spool - PolyLite ASA 3D Printer Filament Teal, Perfect for Printing Outdoor Functional Parts

I used a standard ASA profile and it printed great. No warping issues at all. No adhesion issues. Finish was really good. This was my first ASA and I am wondering why anyone has trouble printing ASA. This stuff lays down like a dream.

Nice filament but took me a few days to get the hang of it. I had to buy a creality multi-kilo spool carrier which cost me another £40 as this reel would not fit inside my Ender3 S1 Pro enclosure. Once I had positioned the spool so that the filament entered through a small gap in the zip, then looped around an empty 1 kg spool and then down to the extruder, I could finally start printing!Initial prints were not great but then I realised the label on the side of the spool said 245 to 270°C, so I upped my nozzle temperature from 240 to 260° C and then the prints came out perfect. I could even run at 70 mm/s speed with no loss of quality. All in all not too bad and now that I’ve got the right equipment and the right temperature I will probably buy more of this filament , but at £60 for 3kg it is not really any saving on my usual eSun 1kg reels which are £20 each.

Great filament at a even greater price, no warping, looks great.

This filament prints so nicely, with great surface finish, layer adhesion, strength, UV resistance, and importantly diameter precision. While a filament diameter sensor can be used to compensate somewhat for poor diameter precision, you'll still get z banding with low quality filament. Due to these reasons I have stopped buying any other brand of filament beside 3DxTech and Polymaker.However, the most important point is the box this comes in is the perfect size for a sleeping cat, and has become the most desirable sleeping spot in my house.
