My son says it is really cool! Love it!

Not the best choice
This is battery powered and has the option to purchase a separate adapter. With the batteries placed in my daughter loved it. It is not that big and was perfect as a night light. However after two nights we had to replace the batteries - to avoid this I purchased an adapter. Now the fan barely works and the marbles just sit on the bottom, does continue to light up the room.

Intriguing
This is a new twist for a modern day lava lamp. I work for a hospital and have it set up on the corner of my desk. My patients all seem to just enjoy sitting there and staring at it, however, it last approximately 3 days running on the batteries, so it does get a little expensive to keep it running for everyone to enjoy.
