I had read poor reviews, but eventually took the chance. It's actually very nice. Clear windows and VERY strong magnets to keep it closed.If you feel unsure, I'd suggest using clear nail polish on the seam at top as a temporary "glue". After seeing how much effort it takes to open, I doubt such a step is necessary in most circumstances.

There isn’t any type of locking mechanism, however the magnet that holds this together could withstand the many drop tests I did, to ensureIt would be able to take the bumps and swings in my hubby’s truck. ( he hung it from the rear view mirror of his truck)

Got this for one of my daughter in laws for Mother's Day and it is going to work perfectly. I have the stones and will be giving this to her for a gift. I love how you are open the door to put more birthstones in, can't wait to see her face when she opens it! Thank you so much for helping me make this Mother's Day extra special for one of my girls!

Very pretty, just wish that the chain was less bulky and a bit higher quality.

The heart was very pretty. The silver inside edge was much darker and appears black but sets off the charms. I like a much longer chain so I will probably change it out.

Large and looks great.
