Purchased to re-string Wind Chimes
This was exactly what I needed. I had an old wind chime that required new strings, so I researched recommendations and chose this product. The string was easy to use and has been holding up well. The wind chimes are outside in the Michigan weather.

Cord for wind chime
This is a nice cord for wind chimes. Unfortunately it was too small for my huge wind chime. I am still searching for the right size cord to fix my chime

Strong string
This is just what I was looking for to restring several of my wind chimes. I like that the knots can be lightly burned to secure the knots and not have ends sticking out. There’s a lot of string on this spool-I could go into business restring wind chimes now but I won’t-it’s a noisy job🤪😂

Very Strong But Frays
I like this string but it is thicker than expected and frays badly. I put clear nail polish on the end to make it stiff enough to thread it through beads etc. Overall I will use it because it is very strong.

Bought to re-string wind chime (larger size)
Got this to restring a tall wind chime that cable rotted. Not while the chime is large, it’s very light for size. You’d probably want a thicker gauge for a real heavy one. Overall though with help of a youtube on how to redo a wind chime (there are tricks you need to know via youtube videos) it worked out perfectly. It’s been up for a while now and all is good.

Not good
The more I've used this the more I dislike it. It frays really bad. Melting the end doesn't help. I Knotted this in 3 different knots together then burned the end and stuck it on itself and still was able to get it completely undone. I can't trust the knots I make with it will stay making it unreliable for my customers.
