Plug and Play for 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X
First CD player I got wouldn't read CD's and every one ejected without playing, tried using it with a computer and the same thing happened. Purchased another one thinking the first one was defective because I really liked how sturdy this player was, loved the smooth textured exterior, that it had a remote and it was $41 used like new. Got the 2nd radio and noticed it appeared newer than the previous one . Plugged it in directly to the USB port on the Nissan Frontier and it read the CD without ejecting it, and all I did was push the USB button on the radio and it started playing the music. Strange stuff I got in the box, there were wires in Ford Motor Company plastic bags ?? All the wires were included including the small black adaptor box which you don't need to use on the Frontier. 100 percent Plug And Play, just take the CD player out of the box and plug in the USB plug into the Truck and it works perfect. You don't see the name of the songs, just track #'s , you can see that on the CD case. Sounds very nice and it fits in the storage tray in front of the gear shifter real snug. I'm sure most Nissan Vehicles after 2020 will also be Plug and Play. Glad I stuck with this CD Player, looks like a keeper !

2023 Chevy Traverse install
It works on my 2023 Chevy Traverse. You have to use the AUX input/output 3.5 mm plugs. My Chevy will not recognize the player USB input. Instead Connect the SX-1000 3.5 mm cable unit to the Car AUX 3.5 mm input and the player USB to the SX-1000 USB. Be sure to push the AUX 3.5 mm firmly into the SX-1000 unit otherwise you will only hear sound from one speaker. It fits perfectly and plays CD-R's.

Unit was not the unit described
The CD player arrived on time. However, the first issue is that the instructions are for a model SX-1000. However, the unit is a SX-2800A. Issue #2 - because the unit was different from the instructions there is no port in the SX-2800A for the auxiliary cable to be plugged into. It came with the cable and another external block, but you could not plug the external block into the CD player. Thus the instructions were worthless as well as the extras shown in the website ad photos. The unit looks durable, but it will never be known if it works or not because you couldn't use any of the cords to plug into a auxiliary port or the USB-C on my truck. I would caution you to make sure you know what you are buying. I will be returning my purchase as soon as the UPS store opens on Monday. I have a 2021 Ram 2500 truck and was really hoping it would have worked for me. Back to the drawing board. Maybe I can find something other than a Chinese mass produced item that doesn't match the descriptions or the instructions and don't even assume you can find the detail online because it ain't there.

Yes you can (play CDs in your new car)
New cars are nice, but alas! No CD player! They tell you to rip all your CDs to USB sticks, but that could take forever if you have a sizable collection. Or resign yourself to streaming only. Fortunately, some people get it: That some of us still want to listen to our CDs in the car. So the LEHWEY to the rescue. It has multiple options for playing CDs and getting the audio somehow into the car's sound system. The most basic one, which works with my car, is to plug it into the car's USB socket. The supplied cable is USB-A and my car has only USB-C but there are adapter cables for that. In this mode, the player impersonates a USB stick, so the car happily believes that's what it is. You can even use the car's controls for pause/play etc. If your car doesn't do USB audio but has an AUX (analog audio) input, this player has a "decoder" for getting the audio in that way. And as a last resort, the decoder can transmit the audio as an FM signal (I haven't tried either of these options). One catch is that the player still gets its power from USB. There is also a little remote for controlling the player in these last two modes.

Battery draining when car is not running!
Remember to unplug USB to prevent your battery being drained. Otherwise it's a good device.

Amazing!
I'm loving my new portable CD player! It's so versatile I can use it in my car, connect it to my laptop or TV via USB, or even hook it up to my Mac or computer. The remote control is super convenient, and the AUX cable makes it easy to plug into other devices. The build quality is solid, and it looks sleek in black and silver. I've been using it to play my old CDs on road trips, and it's been a game-changer. The price was a steal at $74.85, and I'm so glad I picked it up. Highly recommend! The above picture is from when I opened the box .

It works perfectly and is very easy to use!I bought this Lehwey universal CD player so I could listen to my favorite albums in the car, since my vehicle doesn't have a built-in player. I was surprised at how easy it was to plug it into the car's USB port, and it was up and running in seconds. The sound quality is excellent, especially when using the auxiliary cable. I've also used it on my laptop and TV without any issues. The remote control is a very convenient plus. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it!

Throw me back 2000s lol
Just got this car CD player, and I'm super impressed! Installation was a breeze with the AUX, USB, and FM options—literally plug-and-play. My road trips have a whole new vibe now; the anti-skip tech keeps my favorite CDs playing smoothly, even on bumpy roads. Plus, with the Bluetooth, I can easily connect my phone for calls and streaming. It's compact, lightweight, and doesn’t clutter my dashboard. Perfect for anyone who misses that classic CD sound without the hassle!
