Great mouse for the a person with a 1+2+1 palm like grip
Quality-wise, it's a great mouse. The DPI is excellent, movement is smooth, and the mouse cord is a big improvement compared to what I've always used. However, I ended up handing it over to my daughter. She has a palm grip, smaller hands, and long fingers—uses a 1+2+2 grip style.I'm very set in my ways after 30+ years of using a fingertip grip (1+3+1). This mouse just didn't suit my grip style. Compared to more traditional mouse shapes like the Microsoft Intellimouse, Logitech MX510/518, or the basic mice that come with corporate PCs, this one felt like it forced my grip into something different and the hump in the palm area wasn't for me. It made my hand feel sweaty—something I’ve never experienced with a mouse before. The onl y con is the RGB lighting controls, It requires proprietary software to customize, and OpenRGB doesn’t detect it. So I had to live with the default rainbow "demo" mode since I’m not interested in installing extra software just for RGB effects. Instead of the button for 5 profiles on the bottom I would have the button go through the basic light modes.

For the money you can't beat it
Just got this and thought I would leave a quick review.Obviously, I can't speak to the longevity or even the battery life yet. However, its safe to say that this mouse is an amazing value. I've already ordered an additional one to use as a productivity mouse at work.If you're looking for a comfortable mouse that has plenty of programmable buttons and don't want to break the bank, this is an excellent choice.Features:1) USB-C connection. Comes with a nice paracord cable that has a velcro binder.2 ) Wireless. And there is a place to store the wireless dongle on the bottom of the mouse when you're not using it.3) 10 side buttons that are very easy to differentiate from one another. Unlike some other MMO mice, there is little chance of clicking any of them by accident.4) 2 small buttons beneath the clickable scroll wheel that are also programmable.5) There is also a profile button on the bottom of the mouse that lets you select between one of 2 onboard profiles.6) Mouse is fairly comfortable in the hands. Optimal for medium to large sized hands.CONS1) The software is very basic. I had to turn down the resolution on my monitor to even be able to see it clearly. You won't get the bells and whistles that you'd get from name brand mice. You can program keystroke macros, assign multimedia functions, control the LEDs, DPI settings and that's pretty much it.2) The scroll wheel doesn't have left or right click, only middle click.3) The mouse is on the large and heavy side, so wouldn't be a good choice for games that thrive with small, light mice. The price is unbeatable. I just purchased another one on a black Friday sale for $31. If all you want is a basic functional mouse that has loads of buttons with basic programming features, this does the job at a fraction of the price of the name brand mice.

Best button layout I've seen
So the most important thing for me in a mouse is generally useable buttons. When I say useable I don't mean just a lot of buttons that work but buttons that are placed in a way that they are convenient to use without contorting your hand or fingers in unnatural ways.Which leads to why I bought this mouse, I have never owned a Red Dragon mouse before, all the mice I've owned in the last 20+ years have been the high dollar, brand recognized ones. I've had an ASUS Spatha, Corsair Scimitar, Razars, etc. I'm always skeptical about inexpensive mice, not because I like spending a lot of money but generally it means poor quality. I made the exception for this mouse because just looking at it I found the button layout to be almost perfect and definitely superior to literally every mouse I have ever owned. The one change that would make this button layout perfect is if they added town more buttons, the slim ones like the ASUS Spatha has right next to the left mouse click. If this mouse had those additional two buttons I do believe it would have the best mouse button layout that has ever existed on a single mouse. The button layout as is those is very nice, every button is useable without much effort, the 1-4 and forward and back keys are the easiest but I can manage the 5-8 buttons with minimal effort, certain much better than the Corsair Scimitar or similar Razar products with all 12 buttons on the side of the mouse, a horrible design IMO. I gave this product 4 stars instead of five mainly because of the software that you download for it. It functions but I would say it's pretty bare bones, I also can't seem to find a way to set it so it doesn't launch with windows, there doesn't seem to even be a little cog icon to access any settings at all. It asks you when you first install the software but I can't seem to find how to change it. I'm sure I could go into the files and find the flag for it in the code but that certainly isn't user friendly.I did see some reviews on here saying the software wasn't intuitive and making simple macros or assigning simple functions to keys wasn't how you would expect. I can say I have not found that to be the case. Again the software certainly is kind of basic from what you might see on the more popular brands but it's pretty straight forward, I had no issues creating a simple macro or assigning functions to keys for tasks related to gaming. For this amazing price point I would certainly recommend this mouse, I could easily buy three of these for what I paid for my last mouse.

Much higher quality than expected. Very good value for the cost.
Fantastic mouse. Was very surprised at the build quality. Software to program the mouse is easy to use and has many many options to make the mouse buttons do anything you want. Great for any games that have multiple ability’s. Buttons are in two 4 button sections and two larger buttons on top. Thumb rest was odd at first but is now very comfortable and helps with accuracy. Not great for FPS games as the mouse is skittle bulky for that quick of movement. Great for MMOs or RPG games.
