REDCAMP Folding Outdoor Stove Windscreen, 10 Plates Aluminum Camping Stove Windshield with Carrying bag, Lightweight Butane Burner Windshield

I wanted one for my home kitchen & the "kitchen" ones are just 3 pieces of hinged metal & will only fit a certain size pan. I was tired of fry grease getting everywhere in a pan so large I can't find a lid to fit it. The panels swing freely on their hinges so they might "wiggle" a bit much for some people, but I wanted that flexibility to conform to different sized burners or whatever pan size I was using and it works well for me, AND it leaves a gap that I can reach in with spoon or spatula without knocking it over. Once done, I rinse it well & put it straight in to the dishwasher. There is a proper "up" side. Use it, or the hinge pin will try to come out. They are easy to put back in, but if I just keep an eye one which is "up", it's no problem. Worth every penny and wish I'd found it years sooner.

I was looking for a more stable windscreen to go with my Genesis Jetboil camp stove. I purchased the REDCAMP 12 plate folding windscreen. It worked perfectly and folded up and put back In it’s own carrying case it fits on top of camp stove to be stored inside jetboil case.I also used it on a windy day to block the wind while starting campfire. Love dual purpose items.

Great shield for blocking the wind.

LOL This may be advertised for camping, but I am using it at home to keep our large dog away from our food. She's a gentle hound/lab mix, so her nose is fine-tuned. We've been training, but sometimes her nose leads her astray. When she helped herself to a loaf of bread I had just taken out of the oven, I knew it was time to find a barrier . . . just didn't know what to get. Anyway I happened to see this on Amazon and realized it could be the answer. It's very light, closes up quickly, and blocks our furry girl from taking delicious smelling food from the stove or counter top. I know she could knock it over because it is light, but between the training and the Windscreen (or nose screen, in our case), she's not helping herself to our food. And if we ever decide to go camping, we already have a Windscreen!

Any significant wind, this shield moves around. Definitely doesn’t stay in place. I am currently trying to find a way to get it to stay in place. A windshield is not good if it cannot stand up in actual wind. It seems well built, but needs to maybe have a stake or two to hold it in place.

Disappointed in this purchase. It is made cheap. Came with a cheap made nylon STORAGE bag that does not say REDCAMP like the picture shows. Was not packaged in a REDCAMP box- it was only inside of a very thin (another cheap) plastic zipper bag with the rest of my Amazon order, today. My advice -- DO NOT BUY!!!

We have used this windscreen many times. It is very useful on windy days for a small cooking fire, or for use with a back packing stove or camp Dutch oven. It is light weight and serves its purpose well.
