Q: Does it work with Virgin box?

Yes it does, it works with all my devices which are hidden away in a cupboard.

Q: Are the connection jacks 2.5mm or 3.5mm?

3.5mm. I used a standard headphone extender cable and it works perfectly

Q: How long is cable? I need to run from tv to cupboard 10 metre

Cable length is Around 3 meters , if you need more than that , then you can connect an extension .

Q: I have my virgin box located approximately 7 metres from my wall mounted tv. How do I join both? Are the cables provided long enough?

Hi , cable length provided is about 2 meters plus another meter for the IR Emitters . In your case you need to extend it. The receiver Eye stay next your TV and connect the USB plug to your TV USB. Output port , the Emitters should be located next or on your devices ( Virgin Box in your case ) . Thanks
