I hate that you’re here and looking for books like these, because if you’re like me, you just lost one of the most important people in your lives.I had researched this books in the last few weeks I had with my husband and had ordered them ahead of time so I would have them for when his time came.I’m glad I did order ahead because in the days after the loss of my husband, I wasn’t in the mind space to be doing anything.This book does a great job helping describe things that you don’t always know what to say to your kiddos. I love that there is a male and female version of the book so works for both parents.It is a must buy for this time in your kids and your life.Sorry for your loss if you’re reading this review.

I purchased this book to read with my four year old whose brother lives in all our hearts. It is a simple book to read with a powerful message… his brother is always with him. Many different ways that our angel shares in our daily lives and in the bigger moments, too! Highly recommend for families looking to help a sibling understand miscarriage/stillbirth/infant loss.

This is a beautiful little story and I really loved the artwork. I'm a child therapist, and I believe that it would be perfect for young children (7 and under, or so); I think it would bring them some peace after a loss. What I think it is very important to know is that it mentions praying and Christmas. While this isn't a deal breaker for me for the clients I have in mind, right now, I don't think it would work for some of my other clients who celebrate (and pray) differently. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I like that is comes in a male and female version.

I purchased this book for one of my students who lost her older brother. It is perfect for littles. I love that is adapted for a boy or girl angel. The illustrations are beautiful. The story is very relatable. Highly recommend this book for children dealing with loss.

This is a perfect gift for my friend and her baby who just lost her husband

The content of the book is lovely, well written and thoughtful. However, the quality of the paper was lacking which made the book feel cheap and poor quality. Others may not consider that an issue but I worry the book won’t stand the test of time as the flimsy pages and cover won’t withstand much use.
