This video system was purchased to be used as a compact and transportable area monitor before more complex DSLR camera traps are deployed for wildlife photography. It's not used for security and there's no requirement for it to connect to the internet, indeed in most places we operate, there is no internet. The monitor image quality from the supplied cameras is excellent although the text is quite small when going through the setup and operation menus. The night vision IR from the cameras which is of particular importance to us was also excellent with auto-adjusting IR levels from the built-in illuminators. Even at very close ranges of less than a metre there was no burning or significant over exposure of the image. In the light of the above, the system does exactly what I require of it and would also almost certainly work well in its intended role as a security system. The maximum functional range of the IR illuminators isn't known. The manufacturer obviously listens to their customers as a number of points raised by other reviewers have been addressed in the system I received. I fitted a 750GB SATA hard drive which was done by opening a panel on the underside of the NVR and was simplicity itself to do. Two connectors and close the panel. The 'feet' on the underside of the NVR box don't extend far enough down to avoid the hard drive securing screw heads from hitting the surface on which it sits. This could well result in scratching to some surfaces so I'll fit larger adhesive rubber feet to it and there won't be a problem. Although I purchased the version not having a fitted hard drive, the supplier provide four fixing screws for the drive which was a nice touch. The brackets fitted to the cameras have a limited range of adjustment and in some positions they will slightly foul the transmission antenna. I use a cable-fed plate antenna to increase the transmission range and this isn't a problem for us.Setting up the cameras is largely geared to getting them working with the web which we didn't need and was fiddly to do on the small screen but I've set up enough of this type of device in the past for it to be relatively easy to do. The camera power supply leads have been extended to a reasonable length but would still be short if your supply socket was at floor level and the camera was intended to be mounted at ceiling height. A standard CCTV extension cable will address this issue and no loss of efficiency was noticed with extensions of 10 metres. In fact we run our location-monitor cameras from 12v/7Ah SLA batteries which have so far been running for 24 hours. Only one camera is required for what we use them for and only a single night's video is recorded before a new battery is fitted as the same battery also powers the DSLR camera trap and its associated electronics. The PSU for the recorder itself still has a short lead and the device needs to be within 1 metre of a wall socket or again, you need extension cables to either the PSU or the mains electrical socket. Not difficult in either case.The video recorder has settings covering audio but the cameras themselves don't appear to have microphones fitted. This isn't an issue for us and probably not likely to be one when the system is used for site security. The system is compact and efficient but only time will tell if it will withstand the rigours of transportation to different locations. The arms that support the monitor and which are lifted up to provide a suitable viewing angle, are independently secured on either side of the monitor itself and lifting one arm doesn't necessarily mean the other will follow. The monitor assembly can be skewed sideways if the monitor isn't raised into position by lifting both arms at the same time. This may not be a problem but if you're at all heavy handed when raising the monitor it might cause some damage.All in all and without having yet used it on site, it seems to function well and the image quality is perfectly adequate. I would have no problem with recommending it to other users on the understanding that some things could be better and some care is needed when lifting the screen into place. Possibly a rigid plastic web between the two arms on the monitor would resolve this issue but if you know about it then it's not too much of a problem and we will be lifting and collapsing the monitor more times than would be the case if it's used for site security at a fixed location.

ive set it up, found one cctv dont work but yet to contact the seller about it now, the picture quality is very good but sometimes the wireless connection between the cams and the box is a bit slow or jumps to catch up. I have not seen the quality in the dark yet so hopefully its good, generally the set up is preety simple, yet to connect it to the net. overall built quality seems very good for the money, however mouse is cheap as chips but that could be solved its a usb mouse. you dont need the internet to use the cctv unless you want to be able to view the cctv over the internet, you can still use the cctv and record of the net. the cables connected to the cams is a bit short and has a bulky internet lan connector on the end of each cam so drilling would require a large hole to get these through the walls of your home for example.

This was delivered quickly and is an excellent product. The instructions are clear, it was easy to install and worked perfectly. The picture quality is superb, especially on a large HD monitor. I was aware of the time lag of the real time video images, but it might be worth mentioning this in the summary product specs so that other buyers are not disappointed, if they compare the system to a hard wired camera. All in all, superb value for money which I don't think can be faulted in any way.

Good images, easy to install and setup.Wi-Fi makes location easier, but of course you still need to have power close to hand/accessible.

First class service an easy system to install but you will need a big drill bit small 6mm long drill first right through keeping the drill level then a 20mm drill from both sides .Had a problem with one camera but after speaking on what's app my problem was solved in minutes .I fully recommend this system and the mobile app is great not to mention the night vision

Very easy to install. The cameras are already linked with the central box... so it is really Plug N Play.The support is incredible. Any question was answered after few hours same day.Nothing to complain.Excellent service and perfect support.

Ipro dont work .cam ok but sometimes goes out for no reason.
